“A truely unique and wonderful experience.”

One of those absolutely special and unique stays. An overnight stay on the Fairytale Route in a 16th century building. The lovely breakfast including home made ham, salami, preserves and other goodies was sensational and another unique experience. Free parking right out the front and a lovely morning spent wandering this tiny town was like being transported back 500 years. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

“Historical Character in the town square”

Cozy historical building from ye old times in the town square where occasional traders sell local goods. We had the (double) front facing room with walls, doors (Tiny doorways) ceiling all at different angles adding to the sense mystic, fun and character (careful not to bump your head). Owners also sell selected homemade Venison products, not cheap but super yummy

The food is good, and please do not forget to buy some local food when you leave. Well located right in the town centre next to the City Hall opposite to the Tourist information centre, sited right along the beautiful street. Highly recommended for the people who loves the life.

Right in the middle of this little village. We stayed for one night at the start of our drive up the Fairytale Route. Gorgeous old historical building and our room overlooked the main square. Everything is on the wonk and very quaint. Comfy, clean and basic facilities.

Good size rooms and a comfy bed. Friendly owner who met us and showed us around the property.

Unique 1570 house - quaint but comfortable. Breakfast was good. Frau Holle was an exceptional host. lovely shop with lots of different types of goods. A very quiet position in a beautiful setting.

The location is perfect! We enjoyed being able to walk across the square to the town hall, church, and castle. The breakfast was nice and we liked being able to shop in the store. The room was very comfortable and the house was overall beautiful and interesting.

Beautiful quiet hotel in a great location and the receptionist was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and our room overlooked a beautiful open space. Our breakfast was served outside our room in a cosy open space and was substantial. Great attention to detail.
