Situated within 12 km of Skogafoss Waterfall and 19 km of Seljalandsfoss in Steinar, South Iceland Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. It's on the route if you are travelling towards East. Shared accommodation with 6-7 separate sized rooms and 3 shared bath-toilet with common kitchen (well equiped). Parking available next to entry and across the street there is a restaurant (i guess by the guesthouse owner). Room for 3 felt bit cramped up on space but was ok for just 1 night stopover stay for us.

“Average conditions”
The accomodation offers the minimum conditions for sleeping and eating, the bedroom is clean and it has a beautiful view to the mountains. The owner/s instead could have some "space" to improve the conditions with a mininum cost.

“Amazing experience!”
From outside you are 100% sure you are in the middle of nowhere, and the guesthouse look like a box from outside and you may thing 'Am I in the right place?', then check in is the lovely restaurant across the road where we could have a lovely Viking meal (Volcano soup) and chat which the most gentle local staff ever. The guesthouse is amazing from inside, very well decorated and clean, with plenty of bathrooms, big and well supplied kitchen. So safe and with the most beautiful landscape surrounding the place. I highly recommend! And would definitely return!

Beautiful location and having the restaurant across the street was good. The place is far better inside than it looks from the outside. The Rumanian young person who served me in the restaurant was lovely.

Good location for travelling south Iceland. Place was warm & open shared facilities comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Easy check-in. Only met the staff at the restaurant opposite who checked us in. Handy to be able to go across the road for dinner although didn't think meals were good value for money. Would probably recommend self-catering.

The place on the outside looks like an old barn but when you go inside,you will be greeted with a super cute,new,modern and clean guesthouse. Would highly recommend this accommodation
