Overview
This beachfront hotel is situated in a 30,000-m² area right above Akrotiri peninsula, where the famous movie Zorba The Greek was filmed. It offers self-catered rooms a few steps from the sandy beach, with free WiFi and furnished terraces. A large swimming pool and a playground are featured. The traditionally decorated studios and apartments of Zorbas offer views over the Cretan Sea. Each unit has a well-equipped kitchenette with microwave and fridge, and is further equipped with a satellite LCD TV. A safe, a hairdryer and iron are available. The apartments also feature a fireplace. Guests can relax at the sun loungers by the pool and enjoy a drink, a refreshing cocktail or a Mediterranean meal prepared with fresh ingredients, at the poolside bar-restaurant overlooking the sea. Younger guests can enjoy themselves at the children's pool, while special events of traditional Cretan dancing are organized occasionally at the pool area. An outdoor chess board is also included. Hotel Zorbas Apartments & Studios is located 11 km from the airport and only 14 km from Chania Town. The area is close to historical and archaeological sites. Staff at the front desk can organize excursions around Crete, provide maps and information on the area and can help arrange car rental to explore the island. Free transport from/to the market of Stavros is provided upon request.

“Great hotel, good hosts, with a small “but”.”
I LOVED the pool area. It was so relaxing to be there. There were not so many people and you got the most fantastic sunset view. The kids loved it as well. The garden is super kids friendly with a playground and a big chess. There is plenty of space to hang out and also BBQs one can use. We loved the hotels relaxed - laid back vibe, the pool and the garden. The people running the hotel were very attentive and did whatever they could to help us :)

“Amazing stay”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The entire resort, including the rooms, was exceptionally clean, and housekeeping serviced our room daily, which is quite rare. The location is excellent, and the swimming pool is beautiful and well-maintained. Highly recommended 😊

“Great view !!”
Location in great, just at the end of the land. The pool is big, with a area for childrens and a bar open until 23-24. We had a lovely view, in front are free barbeque to make a grill and the rooms are quite ok, with everything you need. Plus the parking is right on the location. No food but you can order From a local tavern and we recommend it.

“Comfortable and affordable with great staff!”
We can see that a real effort is being made to improve the hotel and to keep it nice. These improvements (new air conditioners, t,v's fresh paint and landscaping) are noticeable and make a very nice impression. The staff made every effort to make our stay special and they were available when we needed them. Beach towels were an added plus! Nice to know they are available with the room!

“Relaxing and recharging family stay.”
Amazing view, especially at sunset around pool & bar area and in general quite nice pool and garden surroundings, with couple of smaller beaches near by. Very friendly and helpful staff, all requests accommodated without stress. Cleanliness of rooms, pool area and garden is commendable.

Perched at the tip of a bay, overlooking the ocean. The large pool was a perfect spot to relax. The pool side bar staff ever eager to help.

I highly encourage you to rent apartments in Zorbas Beach Village. The apartments are very clean and fully equipped. Rooms cleaned every day, swimming pool with a beautiful view of the sea. Professional service and friendly attitude towards guests. We will definitely come back 🇬🇷🩵

“Relaxed, chilled and gorgeous scenery, would like a restaurant on site”
The location is in an extraordinary beautiful quiet location. The Pool and bar were excellent. It was spotlessly clean. The reception staff were very helpful. The small beach just at property is fantastic for a swim and only small number of people around.
