A great escape away from the city crowds, great for a restful retreat with the family. Ideal for a relaxing pool and beach type of holiday. Great hosts who make you feel at home. Good air conditioning and a fridge. A big breakfast was served every day with care. Two nice pool areas, the other one very large. The beautiful Zorba beach a walking distance away with a nice beach bar and taverns. Easy to reach by bus from Chania, like we did, the stop is closeby. Walk back a little until you see the sign saying Paradise. Also ideal for drivers, with a large underground garage available.

“Relaxing, peaceful and we had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel”

We stayed here at the beginning of September for 2 weeks. The room we were allocated overlooked a fantastic pool with lovely mountain views from our balcony. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable and it was cleaned every other day with lovely fresh towels, toilet rolls etc. The hotel was very quiet during our stay which was great as we had the pool to ourselves. A lovely breakfast was cooked fresh every morning by the owner Vicky and served to us by her lovely family in the dining room, it filled you up for the whole day which was great. The hotel is located about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Stavros beach with 2 supermarkets on the way. The beach and Sea are both absolutely beautiful, though to hire the sun beds are a little expensive, typically the front row are 40 euros per set and behind are 30 euros, though you do get waiter service and a free bottle of water. The beach is sandy and the sea is warm and shallow and lovely to swim in, lots of little fish too. There are various restaurants surrounding the beach, all of them serve good food reasonably priced. Due to the hotels location we hired a car for two weeks from a company called Uranus car rentals who we highly recommend. Vicky the owner was fantastic, she even packed us a picnic breakfast when we left early one day to do some sightseeing. She gave us recommendations and advice on places to visit, eat, park, bus times etc, she was just lovely and worked very hard to make sure we were happy. They are a lovely family Vicky, her husband and sons, and we recommend their hotel to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing, safe and enjoyable holiday. We would love to go back one day.

“Perfect!”

We like the style and cleanliness of the hotel rooms, swimming pool area and facilities specially the hospitality and kindness of the reception staffs and son of the owner who himself was there to welcome us with our first Greek traditional breakfast. We feel at home and safe in Greece because of the warm welcome and accommodation of the hotel reception staffs who are always ready to assist us and give us extra informations we need. The location of the hotel is just a walking distance from the Stavros beach where the movie Zobra the Greek was filmed and we also got a nice view of the island when we hiked to the Cave Lera near the beach. This hotel is highly recommended if you would like to have a great stay in Stavros in Chania. " Efcharisto poli" if we say it right in Greek, thank you very much to the Paradice hotel team. 'Til we meet again.

The staff was very kind amd helpful and always tried to meet our needs and expectations. The pool is amazing, it is a big size pool with very pleasant temeprature of water. That part of the hotel is brand new. Our room was big enough for three people with a small fridge that was also very useful during our holiday.

I loved this hotel. Great pool that we loved and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and lovely. The breakfast was delicious and never the same so it’s great 😊. If I come back I would stay there again 🥰

The wonderful, adorable Mrs. Vicki, manager of the property, was kind and attentive and tried to make everything comfortable for us. In fact the staff in general was lovely, they solved a problem we had upon arrival with the best solution.

Paradice is an impressive hotel, particularly the main pool area, which the dining room/bar looks out on to, making a lovely back drop during meal times. The food was good and dinner was ordered from a menu rather than buffet style. There was enough on the menu to allow a different main course for every day of our stay and the meals were plentiful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Stavros is a quiet resort and very Greek, which we loved. However, the icing on the cake was the staff, who were very welcoming, always helpful and friendly and did their utmost to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

The pool was small, but clean. The staff were polite. Appreciated having an underground car park.

“Our happy place 😊”

We received such a warm welcome from Vicky and her Husband on arrival and we were shown to gorgeous suites across from the outdoor breakfast area and pool. Vaso, the receptionist phoned taxis and gave unlimited info on the area. Katerina looked after our suites and the rooms were always spotless and exquisite towel displays on our beds which we loved so much. When you wanted your breakfast, you just failed reception and in 15 mins a wonderful freshly prepared breakfast was served by Katerina with vegetarian options for one of our party. It was a different hot breakfast each day with juice, tea, coffee, fruit and yogurt and honey. Vicky baked fresh croissants every morning. She also served us lovely Ice Frappes in the afternoon at the pool which were perfect to cool down. The WiFi was excellent and the location also - short walk to the supermarket and the beach/ restaurants. The staff were so nice and kind and allowed us to stay on for the day as our flights were not until the evening. Vicky even picked us up in her own car when we were stranded at a beach where no taxis were available. So kind of her. She even got in touch to make sure we had a safe flight home. Before we left, Vicky and her Husband showed us an amazing surprise and brought us over to another part of the property, which was an amazing new extension decorated beautifully with a Greek theme. The pool was jaw dropping - bigger than an Olympic size pool and luxury sun beds and umbrellas. A huge restaurant area with amazing Greek themed marble bathrooms. New family and couples suites also - all ready to open in March 2024. This makes the Paradice into a venue which is outstanding and is a must for anybody staying in Crete. You will be overwhelmed. We will be back next year for sure !!

“The most superior Hotel in Crete by far”

From the moment we pulled up in the taxi, we were excited about our stay. Beautiful entrance and flowers and a lovely big pool with flowing water from Greek urns. We received a big warm welcome from Vicky who brought us to our luxury suites, which were spotless and beautifully decorated. Katerina, Vickys daughter in law to be - served us a beautiful breakfast prepared freshly to your choice of time by her and Vicky. It was different every day - fruit, yogurt and honey, tea, coffee, juice,hot toast and freshly baked croissants all served with a cooked hot breakfast. Vaso was on reception and always on hand to phone us a taxi and give us advice on where to go. Nothing was too much trouble. We had some great chats with her, Vicky and Katerina. Katerina prepared our rooms each day to perfection and did some wonderful towel designs which were a wonderful surprise when we came back to our rooms later.

“In Paradice for a week”

Paradice hotel, a fitting name, heaven on earth with angels as staff. Since our arrival we were overwhelmed with the warmed, kindness and help from the lovely staff. Although we arrived early (only to leave our luggage) we were told that our room is ready and we can check in. The suite was huge, clean ,outstanding in every way. We opted for breakfast and dinner included. Breakfast was freshly made every morning, delicious, diverse and plenty. After 12 o'clock we could order dinner at any time so we could easily plan the day without any worries about the food. The menu had a big variety of starters, salads , burgers, greek specialties and drinks, and the extraordinary staff was always there to help us with the best options. We were a group(family) of 4 adults we were never hungry. The helpful staff can book you for tours ( talk with them in advance as there are days set for each tour) that would pick you up from the hotel and bring you back. You can also take the bus to Chania (bus station is at 5 mins walk) and go in tours from there, the kind staff at the hotel will print the bus schedule for you. If you want to stay in Stavros ,Zorba beach (where the Sirtaki dance scene from the movie Zorba the Greek was filmed) is at 15 minutes walk from Paradice Hotel, on your way there you can shop at the local markets or stop at one of the tavernas. The staff was very helpfull. The swimming pool was relaxing and we liked the breakfast service in the morning. Easy to reach by car and also near by a childfriendly beach and the airport.

The breakfast was excellent and changed from day to day. Extra effort was taken to prepare it. The room was excellent and very clean and well designed. The staff made every effort to look after my requests of interesting places to visit and restaurants and beaches in the area. Well done for hospitality.

Large room with large closet and a small 'balcony' area. The pool is small but lovely and quiet. Breakfast is very nice. The staff is super nice and helped us with many things.
