“2 nights rest in Stavros”

Super friendly staff, swimming pool and lovely cats. The kitchen was well equipped, all clean and tidy, 100mtr to shops, 3 min walk to Zorbas Beach, very peaceful and calm, perfect place to rest or the take a hike 🥾 Close to other lovely places like Seitan Limani beach 20-25min drive, or Monastery 🥾 to Katholiko Bay which I really recommend. 30min drive to Chania center is also fine if someone is missing big city lights, 20min drive from airport, perfect location for late night arrivals

What an incredibly run place,the sisters vivacious and give excellent guest service with advice and recommendations. The gardens,pool and outside area's are immaculate. A little shop onsite if you need anything or a 5 minute walk to a bigger choice. Plenty of places to eat,a beach all in walking distance,a bus stop into Chania nearby,a great place to stay away from the tourists but with everything you need for a perfect stay. If you are not renting a car or organising a taxi then a bus from the airport to Chania and then onto Stavros is possible cheaply but takes a while.

Comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, close to the beach and restaurants. Nice clean pool, nice place to relax.

“A little slice of paradise”

Paradise, amazing people Vasso & Loula are so lovely. Wonderful pool and peace and quiet just what we needed. We have been twice now and would book again.

I had a lovely time at Cathrin Suites. My room (apartment 14) had gorgeous seaviews and the sunset from the balcony was stunning! 😍 The pool area is great and the ambiance of the whole place is peaceful. Vasso and Loula are fantastic hosts. They go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. I am truly grateful for their hospitality, especially Loula giving me a lift to the other side of Stavros when I checked out. You are so kind. Thank you both for always providing fantastic service. I highly recommend your place.

“Amazing hosts, amazing hotel with an amazing view.”

I arranged a transfer from Chania airport to the hotel in advance, very easy. On arrival the owner was in reception to hand over the keys and she showed us around our room and was very welcoming. Throughout our stay both ladies were extremely helpful and any information we needed they were happy to help in any scenario. Bus times Excursions Recommendations etc In the reception they had pastries, ice creams,coffee, beers, water always readily available and at a great price (cheaper than the mini market!). The room Our room was perfect, we had a sea view and a view of the stavros mountain. Clean, comfortable and great price in comparison to other hotels in the same area. It had everything we needed in the room to be able to cook a meal if we wanted to! The toastie machine was a great touch. Fresh towels everyday and made up room. The location of the hotel was amazing, a stone’s throw from hiking trails, 1 minute from the beach and restaurants, 300m from a mini market & the bus stop was right outside the hotel. The pool was great with an amazing view has a child friendly shallow section too.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The pool is a great place to chill and for the kids to play. The location is perfect as it is only a 6 min walk from the amazing beach of Zorbas. The hosts are super friendly and did their best to make a staying great. We would definitely go back!

“Lovely place with beautiful swimming pool in a quiet (still very well connected!) area”

The place is lovely and quiet, and it's really close to the beach and some good restaurants. We loved the swimming pool, great to chill out before or after a long day at the beach or sightseeing around! The owner Vasso has been super nice with us, suggesting some beautiful beaches we wouldn't have known about otherwise! I totally recommend this place. It's also easy to reach from the airport and a great base to discover the Akrotiri peninsula and the Chania area.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a wonderful holiday at this incredible hotel with my daughter — just the two of us on a special dad-daughter trip — and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by the amazing hosts, Vasso and Loula. These two sisters truly go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. Their hospitality is unmatched — warm, attentive, and always with a smile. You can tell they care deeply about what they do, and it shows in every detail of the stay. The location is absolutely perfect — peaceful, scenic, and close to everything you might need, yet it feels like a hidden gem away from the crowds. The vibe of the whole place is so relaxed and inviting, making it the ideal environment for families or anyone looking to unwind and recharge. One of the highlights for us was the swimming pool — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both kids and adults. My daughter had the time of her life, and I got to enjoy some real relaxation as well. This was more than just a holiday — it was an experience full of joy, comfort, and connection. Long story short....the worst experience with a property via Booking. I don't understand how this property has a 9.2 score . The only thing that is ok is the pool. The room was dirty, the sheets and pillowcases were dirty, the ugliest towels I have ever seen in my life. they should have been thrown away a long time ago. noise every night and morning, the smallest bathroom I have ever seen...and the cherry on the cake was when the cleaning lady stole money from my wife's purse. the problem was solved by the owner the next day and she gave her the money back. the pool was the only reason for joy during the stay. My mistake was that I didn't read the older reviews 2, 3 years ago. I wouldn't have chosen to stay here . The review is for the room I was assigned. on the ground floor. Maybe others were luckier. I have no way of knowing.
