We're staying at the hotel one night and it was really good experience. The hotel owners were very nice to us and charming.. Room stuff and furniture have very high quality. Coffee and hot croissants at breakfast were amazing! Old building, large room creates special atmosphere. We highly recommend this hotel for all other travelers in Stavanger!

Very clean, good communication with owners. There is a lift. Very good breakfast. Beds a little firm but ok for us. Room was warm without being too hot. Bedding was lovely. Tv with lots of English speaking channels.

It would have been nice to meet the owners, however, a lady did come out while we were having breakfast unsure of her relationship to the owners though.

Lovely property in a beautiful old style house. The room was a good size and a comfy bed. The property surprisingly has an elevator which is very handy. I recommend this guesthouse.less than 10 min walk to the old town area. A number of good restaurants and cafes nearby.

“A very pleasant place to stay”

We arrived a little late as we travelled by train from Oslo. We were very tired but found the place quite easily, a short walk from the station. We were told to use a link that was emailed to us to open both the main front door and the room door. So you do need a working phone with internet access (there was a strong 5G sigal for us), so be warned. Being tired I didn't notice the big button on my phone to unlock the front door. We buzzed the owner who let us in without any issue. The room had a modern decor and a very comfy bed, with an en-suite bathroom and shower. As we were due to leave quite early in the next morning I contacted the owner to let them know we didn't need breakfast They replied asking if we wanted a 'to-go' breakfast, which I thought was very kind of them. I said yes please and the next morning at just after 6am we came downstairs to find the owner was at the kitchen area preparing coffee and the to-go breakfast was waiting for us (a bag for each of us). I honestly cannot fault the place and the owners who run it. Quiet, clean and comfy.

The continental breadfast was very nice especially the fresh bread. The location is quiet, only a few minutes walk to the bus terminal (to Bergen) and city centre.

Absolutely lovely hostess, made our stay very pleasant. Helped to make my Mum's 70th birthday special. Extremely comfy beds, 10 mins walk from the city centre. Can't think of any improvements!

Villa Eckoff is a cozy hotel set in a beautiful building. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Communication was great throughout. The location is also superb: quiet yet close to everything, namely the train station and direct bus to the airport. Breakfast is simple in variety yet generous.
