“Ideal location, super friendly staff, comfortable almost perfect apart from street noise”

Perfect location close enough to everything you’d need as a visitor. The decor was very nice throughout. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and dealt with a couple of issues that we had during our stay quickly effectively and without fuss. I used one of the bikes available to guests and loved it so much i’m ordering the same model from the company that manufactures them. I visited the gym and saw it was ideal for a workout but ending up not using it due to the amount of walking and cycling we did. Breakfast was good and plentiful despite neither of us being meat eaters. We didn’t use the restaurant but the bar was nice and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Bar staff were especially helpful after I’d fallen down a hole in the road whilst looking at google maps on my phone and twisted my knee, they provided me with ice to put on my knee.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect central location. Staff were exceptional - Victoria on reception was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are a little small but cozy and very comfortable bed!

The decor and entrance is very welcoming. The layout and furniture was super. The bedroom was cosy, very comfortable and the pillows were very good. The breakfast was exceptional.

Decor of whole hotel is modern and contemporary but keeps the heritage of the building. Rooms were great – spacious and clean, fab bathroom. Breakfast food was fantastic, great choice and service (gets busy on Sundays). Staff were all amazing and their English was outstanding! Can't really fault much about the hotel and would definitely recommend.

Room not cleaned, stuff on the floor etc Construction site next to the hotel, with strong lights into the room all night and curtains could not keep it out. And heavy noise from very early

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely polite, respectful, and attentive. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was excellent with a great variety. It was my wife’s birthday, and the hotel kindly upgraded our room, which made our stay even more special. Overall, everything was perfect and I truly appreciate their outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!

Choice and quality of breakfast foods was outstanding. Location is perfect, close to the heart of the quayside but far enough away from the night time revellers noise.
