“Fantastic atmosphere in a comfortable and cozy place”
Going to the Kongsteinsgata Guesthouse in Stavanger has been one of the best choices I could make to start my experience in the city. Great position, clean rooms and extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Flora and her daughter Ruvisel are working with passion and a spirit of hospitality which goes beyond the expectations and bring warmth and care, making you feeling as if you’ve gained a small house in the heart of Stavanger. I’ll always remember with pleasure my days in here. Thank you so much for everything!

It’s a small, quiet hostel. It was very clean and the owner was very friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything there was spotless too. If I’m ever in Stavanger again, I’ll definitely be stopping by there once more.

“This hostel is worth booking!”
When I booked the room, I was a little nervous because it is a house instead of a standard hostel. My expectations were surpassed and this was the most friendly hostel I stayed at my whole trip! Everyone became a little family five minutes after I arrived and the house owners are amazing people. They made sure I had everything I needed and are good people. There was a packet of things to do and information on how to get there, which was really helpful because I didn’t have a pre-planned itinerary. I only wish there was a big table for more than four people to eat together!
