“An Excellent Place to Stay”
I really enjoyed the stay. The attitude of the staff was tremendous. The location was great, halfway between the YMCA (I always work out while away from home) and our family in Bellefonte. Right downtown where many of the restaurants are. The breakfast was always great--much appreciated. We made a mistake in booking the final night, but they let us stay in the room we had.

“Great value for money. Definitely recommend.”
Beds were very comfortable. Pillows were thin enough and pliable enough for varied sleeping requirements (stomach sleepers), rather than way too thick and hard. Excellent. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. No complaints at all. Best aspect was the reception staff who were very accommodating as we had a staggered arrival prior to our actual booking due to health circumstances of the person we were visiting. No trouble at all to help with transferring keys to remain in the rooms for actual booking. Always a friendly greeting as we passed the desk.

The staff are as friendly and helpful as I've rarely seen. I found myself in this hotel in spite of myself, as I was supposed to be in another hotel in the center of State College. I was a little disappointed, but in the end I found myself in a wonderful hotel, whose greatest strength is the human quality of the people working there. I recommend it 100% and would go back without hesitation!
