“Just wonderful”

We spent a week with our two little dogs at this beautiful property on the hillside of starigrad. The house was thoughtfully renovated and decorated, with a rustic croatian charme. It was really well equipped and clean. The location was very remote with an exceptional view. Our host was nice and caring. The host was also nice to our dogs, gave them scratches and very tolerant about them. There is a sweet giant dog lady who lives in the neighborhood and just strolls around, she was very friendly and always up for scratches. If the dog would have bothered us or if we would have been afraid of dogs, our host would have contacted the owners. The dog didn't like our young dogs because they are quite energetic and don't understand the concept of personal space when it comes to other dogs, so we just kept a distance with them. It was really no problem. The property has stones and small walls as something like fences, but that didn't stop our pups. There is almost no traffic so that didn't worry us too much. Maybe just as an information for people who have a dog that would fun off or something. As positive surprises we found that there is a well taken care of whirlpool with the most wonderful view, parking and wifi. Starigrad has a nice and not crowded beach, in the area of the stone tower. You can park there for free, dogs are allowed and you find showers, bathrooms and beach bars. There is nothing that we consider a nice area for evening strolls, in the town. but we ended up finding good, rustic konobas to eat at and got pizza to eat on the beautiful property and just enjoyed the sunsets with a glass of wine in the whirlpool. At last but not least the National Park! We love hiking so we were happy to do that on the "bad weather" days. we can definitely recommend this property and hope to come back some day.
