“Cosy, clean, exceptional”

Wonderful, cosy hostel. We were 2 friends in the mixed dorm staying 2 nights in July and attending Floating Castle festival. It's quiet, temperature is great, beds comfy, all clean, enough space between beds. Fully equipped kitchen and fridge, nice private, airy bathrooms. Peace and quiet and friendly staff. Easy to find, easy to park, easy everything. Totally recommend.

“Charming Hostel in beautiful surroundings”

Charming hostel in beautiful surroundings. We were a group of cyclists and had a great stay at the hostel. Although booking and check-in were a bit chaotic, the host was nice, helpful, and flexible and we could sort everything out. We booked the Junior Suite (basically a house of its own) and were happy to find really nice rooms, clean bathrooms and a large kitchen area for cooking, eating or just spending time together. Unfortunately, we had to leave early and couldn’t try the breakfast. The location seemed a bit remote but there is a restaurant and supermarket just 1km away.

Beautiful building and area. Loved hiring 1 bike plus 1 scooter. Wished you had more. Boys enjoyed basketball.

“Charming Youth Hostel”

My bed in the dorm was extremely comfortable. For someone hiking the Via Dinarica, it was something I really appreciated. I really loved the charming characteristics of the place too. There were not a lot of guests, so it was nice and quiet.

Location is almost two hours away from the Capital. To get from Ljubljana to Ars Viva in Loska Dolina you can rent a car, or book a taxi from the airport which is what I did. Another option is to take a bus from Ljubljana to Podcerkev. In Ars Viva I rented an electric bicycle which was a fun experience. For breakfast we had a buffet of fresh food and drinks. My room had a lovely view and was well kept, which can be said about the whole property. There were no issues with the WiFi, and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, which added positively to my stay. All in all, I would definitely recommend.

A good location, clean and comfortable. Small bathroom and shower but good value for money. There was a good choice of breakfast stuff and frozen pizzas and lasagne in the freezer, we had a couple of pizzas as we were travelling on bicycles and didn't really want to cycle back to the town. It was a good pizza too at a reasonable price. The staff were not around at check-in but the online process went very smoothly, we soon the manager at breakfast and she was very helpful.

Check-in was very easy and flexible. I didn't see the dorm, but our room was a good size with plenty of space to store our luggage. Everything was really clean, and we really enjoyed breakfast.
