“Look no further - Revelin ticks all the boxes.”
Revelin is located in a beautiful quiet side street with no traffic but moments from the centre of town. The entrance is set back behind a gate and feels very safe and private. It is a wonderful old building which has been sensitively renovated keeping its antique charm but feeling contemporary and up-to-date inside. The house is much larger than expected and decorated to a high standard in a minimal style which feels relaxing, calm and upmarket. It was tricky to decide which bedroom to take as they are all equally lovely. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the towels and bed linens were high quality plain white cotton and the overall aesthetic is very tasteful which is hard to find in a holiday rental property. The outside space is absolutely gorgeous for eating dinner. It is completely private and the only sounds are the occasional church bell and the swallows darting about above. Very atmospheric and relaxing after a hot day in the sun.

“Perfect stay in Stari Grad”
What attracted us to Revelin House initially was that it is within the UNESCO protected Tvrdalj Castle, and it’s location in Stari Grad. Originally built to house guests within the castle, it has recently been very tastefully renovated. It overlooks the stunning grounds of the castle, which of course is a must-see. However, there is another quite unique feature of this house, which I was only aware of after meeting the lovely host, Wendy. Make sure you check out their website as it discusses this rare phenomenon. The house itself has all the amenities required for a very comfortable stay, including a washing machine and great clothes drying rack. Loved the beds, and the views. Wendy provides a written list of great information and recommendations for restaurants, and activities to do around the area. Staying here was one of our favourite places to stay during our 3 weeks in Croatia. Truly special and unique. Would highly recommend, and would absolutely stay here again if ever the opportunity arises. Thank you Wendy.

Location was great. Property was very clean and spacious. Courtyard was fantastic and the house was very easy to relax in. Clean and in a beautiful location. Our host was so incredible and informed us on unique activities to do around Stari Grad. Couldn’t recommend this property more!
