I travelled to the Falkland Islands as part of a charity delegation and stayed at the Waterfront for 10 days. I cannot fault the staff or hotel, plus it is in an amazing location in the heart of Stanley. I also hosted a dinner in the restaurant for 8 people which went very well. The included breakfast was also superb.

The team made my stay so comfortable with a wonderful room that was very well cleaned each day - the interior design of the room was lovely as was the rest of the hotel and the restaurant downstairs. Andreas, Alex and Vanessa are so friendly and attentive - exceptional service and so warm and welcoming. This was my first working visit to the Falklands and they made it is a very smooth and easy stay - thank you so much. If/when I return I will stay again.

The hotel is the best place to stay at when in Stanley. The manager will cater to your every need and will always be checking on you so that your experience is enjoyable. Our trip was delayed several days and he worked with us to modify our reservation without penalties, and had even made a reservation for us to have dinner the day we arrived, knowing it would be hard to find a spot because it was a holiday. Overall an amazing experience.

“Would 100% go again: beats it’s rival hotel”

The hotel and restaurant are on the waterfront with adequate parking behind the hotel. As soon as you walk in the door you are met with a happy face and your room check in is swift and professional. We were given a free upgrade which was fantastic, although out of season and we live 40 miles away, but a lovely touch which it’s rival hotel cannot do. The room is snug as it taken up by a huge bed (huge positive), with somewhere to sit on the sofa. The 1gb WiFi was a nice touch so you can peruse the local amenities and keep in touch with friends and family. The shower was amazing, the gravity shower head added that special touch in an immaculate shower room. I’ve stayed in some of the best hotels in London and around the world, but the cleanliness here is top notch.

Loved the welcoming and amazing hospitality. The room has a kettle with tea and coffee selection. TV and Internet access. Amazing breakfast - super tasty. Also the restaurant serves lunch and dinner which is also super tasty and a good selection. Always willing to help and make a stay memorable and sweet.

The Waterfront Hotel has “soul”. Attention to detail is paramount, the staff are attentive, happy and very customer service oriented. Every morning we sat for our breakfast at a window seat facing the water, you couldn’t ask for more, so very relaxing. The atmosphere at night is lively with a great mix of people, and menu so very varied. The Hotel arranged our transport and tours. Alex, Manager certainly is very good at his job. Would we stay at The Waterfront again, yes we would.
