Overview
Located in Stangerode and surrounded by a private nature park in the heart of the scenic Harz countryside, the Reit- und Sporthotel Nordmann combines the experience of natural beauty with modern luxury. All rooms at the Nordmann include a flat-screen TV, a sofa and a balcony. Each also comes with a private bathroom featuring a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Bathrobes can be hired for an additional fee. Breakfast is served daily, in the guest's room if desired. At lunch and dinnertime, guests can enjoy good food and fine wines in the hotel’s spectacular steak-speciality restaurant which features massive natural wood columns, a show kitchen and a large roof terrace. Amid the picturesque landscape of the Harz National Park, the Reit- und Sporthotel Nordmann is set within a private wildlife park with many native species including bison. Extensive horse-riding and safari activities are offered on site. Both the historic city of Leipzig and the Leipzig/Halle Airport are less than 90 minutes’ away by car. The A14 and the A38 motorways can be reached in just over 30 minutes’ drive from the hotel, which offers free parking.

“Very nice hotel”
It is rather nice hotel in a quiet and green area. Spa and wellness are - GREAT. Restaurant even better. The rooms are like palaces, big.... Wi-Fi is good. The staff is very friendly. Parking is sufficient. I would gladly come here again.
