Lovely accommodation with a view of the water! Very clean, nicely decorated and well appointed. The sauna was a treat! Good size for a family. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

“Fantastic week in Lofoten”

Lovely, well equipped cabin in a quiet area of town. Walking distance to the town supermarket, go explore the WW2 defences in the hill above the hut.

A great place in a beautiful setting! The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed.

What a dream this was! The location is so picturesque and the home so comfortably appointed. We loved Lofoten Islands and part of it was this lovely accommodation. Perfectly positioned equidistant to two grocery stores, half way between the ferry and Svolvaer, tucked away, near a spectacular mountain hike, walking distance to a restaurant, a sauna, and a bunch of art galleries - it was a joy!

Highly recommend this gem of a house. We had a wonderful week at Runes Cottage. The house is neat and clean and well equipped. The town itself is nice but the highlights are the trails around town and the beautiful shoreline. On our first night we saw Orcas passing by. The surroundings are stunning, it was magical. Thanks for everything.

“Great stay, comfortable and cosy”

The house was more spacious than expected. It was clean and quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped. Garbage and recycle were separated with useful information given by the owner. Supermarket was nearby, bigger supermarkets were also not very far. Communication with owner was also easy. It was homey, comfortable and cosy. We would come back in the future.

We had a great stay here. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. It even had a e-charger that we could use, so it was super practical to charge our car. We would definitely come back here. The small town does not have any good restaurants or bars. You will need to travel a little bit if you want to eat out. But it compensates with less tourists and therefore quiet evenings.

Very nice apartment/house in general. Easy check-in (key-box). There were 2 very small sleeping rooms and one big spacy living room. We were 4 people, so it was Ok. It was kitchen with main necessary equipment. Spacy bathroom. And also terrace, which we were lucky to use due to the good weather, also with nice view. We have not walked very much around, our goal was to visit different Lofoten places. It took time to drive, but we think that it was sufficiently good choice to stay in this place (Stamsund). Anyway, you have to drive from any place if you want to visit different places. We saw food supermarket in the village, but usually we have used one in the Leknes on our way home. There were also gas station in the village. The house also has possibility to charge electric car for extra cost (we haven't used).

“Pleasant stay in a calm and comfortable place.”

We stayed for 4 nights. The host was friendly and extremely helpful. Place was in perfect condition and had calm/relaxing feeling to it. There was a swimming possibility in a nearby Lake and a hike to a nearby Mountain was a nice activity for beginners. 5/5 experience.

Excellent cabin. Nice, clean, lots of space in the bathroom and with washing machine. Owner was very friendly. Only the reception was not that easy to find. Called the owner and he waitet then for us.

The cabin is located nicely in the Harbour. it is quiet there and one has wonderful views on the mountains and the sea! the cabin is very cosy! the kitchen is well equipped. the bathroom is spacious and nice. parking is possible directly in front of the car. a supermarket, a restaurant and the Harbour are within walking distance!

Cottage was clean and had enough space. We were only two. Two more did not manage to come due to sickness. We fully enjoyed our stay. The verten was very nice and easily available.
