It is an amazing place for chill out with beatiful roof top for a sunset time, spacious swimming pool and friendly and helpful manager/owner (George - thank you for your kindness!) Hope to come back one day!

“Fabulous stay in Stalos”

We stayed at the Kurmulis Studios for two weeks and each single day was just great. George is an amazing host, cheerful, always helpful, open, and really „hands-on”. The whole property is perfectly maintained and clean. Our apartment was regularly cleaned, and towels changed. Kitchen is equipped with everything you may need, there is also a coffee machine. I really enjoyed the greenery – tree (bougainvillea?) at our doorstep, reaching up to the bedroom balcony and further up was so beautiful! There are enough comfortable sunbeds, umbrellas and towles you can use outside. The swimming pool is clean and welcoming – just mind as it is quite deep (right for swimming), but there is also a shallower part designated for the kids. Wifi was good, rooftop terrace is perfect and with such a view! Note for travellers: stairs in the apartment were really steep (but you can get used to that - however, may be problematic). George, to you and your kind staff: thank you for making our stay so great, we wish you just all the best!

Me and my friend loved the property. I was secluded but within perfect reach of restaurants and only a quick taxi away from the old town (city centre). We especially liked the rooftop with great views and perfect tanning location !

Location was terrible. On a hill out of the town and not near anything. Had to get a taxi really unless you wanted a trek in the blistering sunshine.

“A wonderful stay”

It was very accommodating for our trip to Crete, located in a relatively good range to most of the major attractions. The host provided us with a helpful list of recommendations in terms of activities, spots to eat, rental car companies and so on. Highly recommend!

It looks exactly like the pictures. A lot of parking space, easy to find with gps, and the owner was always avaliable for any questions. The best part about the property was the roof garden with a fantastic view.

“Beautiful”

We had a studio with 2 floors, the decor inside was beautiful and the balcony was lovely. The pool area was lovely as was the sunset terrace. We loved our stay here. Stalos beach is just down the hill about a 12 minute walk, where you’ll find lots of beach clubs and restaurants. Chania is easy to get to using a bus at the end of the road, cost us €2 one way and took about 15/20 minutes, but that goes by quickly, they run every 20 minutes. You should definitely visit Chania a few times it’s stunning. We went end of September/start of October and everything was open and George the host provided us with a huge folder of suggestions such as bars, nice walks, booking taxis, vineyards near by etc which was a nice touch.

Really clean, beautiful property. A short walk to the beach and a short bus ride to Chania. Loved the balcony and rooftop. Best place we’ve ever stayed!

“Wonderful relaxing holiday”

The property is conveniently located in easy walking distance from restaurants and the beach, but also feels very peaceful and out the way. Our studio was really spacious and nicely decorated. The pool area is gorgeous and we never had an issue getting a sun lounger in the sun. The roof terrace at sunset is extra special.

“Magical Greek home away from home”

The feeling we had during our stay was of a home away from home. The rooms were large. The beds were comfortable. The air was calm. The sitting area outside was beautiful and peaceful. Absolute heaven.

Lovely place to stay, and a great location to explore Chania and the surrounding areas, although it helped that we had a car. Although the beach was a short walk it was really nice and fairly quiet at the eastern end. Plenty of sun beds and bars to the west if that’s your thing.

“George the owner was just wonderful!”

The property had a real WOW factor on arrival. The property is so well maintained and it was obvious that it is run with care, love and heart. The pool was lovely and there was a great choice of seating areas amongst the colourful flowers. The terrace for a sunset drink was magical. Our apartment was scrupulously cleaned and had everything we required.

Kurmulis Studios was lovely and peaceful, with a well maintained pool and a roof terrace with an amazing view. The room was a good size, with a well equipped studio style kitchen. It was well located, with a 10 minute walk to the shops, restaurants, beach and bus stop. The staff were friendly and helpful, cleaning the room / replacing towels regularly. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Well equipped, cozy and clean. The apartment complex looks stunning and it has a great pool. I recommend to everyone! 😊
