The food was very tasty, with a variety of choices. The pool is clean. The views are amazing from the location of the hotel.

The friendly staff and lovely view. The air con worked really well and the beds were comfy. The snack bar offered a good selection of food and drinks.

“Very good value for the money stay in Stalis!”

Very good value for the money! Highly recommended! Even if it is not very new and some improvements may be necessary, we loved our 10 days stay in Stalis. We loved the pool, it was pretty clean and the water was always warm. The food was pretty decent (we had the breakfast included/free thanks to our Genius level). Not many options but enough to get you going. We ate dinner also at the location once and we payed 20 euro per person. There were enough options to satisfy anyone but not enough vegan or vegetarian options. We found our studio clean. The air conditioning worked just fine and managed to cool the whole house in an hour or two. We didn’t use the kitchenette at its potential, but it had many facilities to cook some basic foods if necessary. All in all we don’t regret our stay and would definitely recommend the location to anyone, even if it’s not recently renovated, it’s position, view and staff makes it worth.

“What a view!”

The best thing was the view. It was fantastic, it was a pleasure to sit on the terrace in the evening and enjoy the view! The whole town and the see bay from above! Or swim in the pool and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. The beds were comfortable, there was a little lack of chairs in the room, 2 for 3 people... There was also no stove, but for us it was ok because we had booked it with dinner. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, lots of greens, different dishes every night, also Cretan national, our thanks to the cook!

“Great place, good views, amazing staff”

WONDERFUL MARIA We stayed in Mariamare Apartments for 5 nights, and we must say the service extended to us by the staff was exceptional; unlike any place we have ever stayed in before. Being a Muslim family, we were happy to eat vegetables and fish, and definitely didn't expect any halal meat. On the first night we arrived, however, we found only a couple veg options and were a bit disappointed. The next day, on the other hand, Maria, the owner, approached us and was really making an effort to find out what we eat and what we don't eat, our preferences etc. From then on, the dinner options were truly amazing, with a lot of both meat and veg options, as well as calamari and fish. We also got a taste of some delicious traditional Greek cuisine, with Maria making a separate vegetarian moussaka for us to enjoy, as well as some special pies only made in Crete (apologies, I'm not sure of the name). One of the staff, Ralle (I'm not sure how to spell it, sorry) was also extremely friendly and was charming to talk to. In fact, all of the staff were very sweet and considerate and attended to our every need. The views from our balcony were also outstanding; we were able to see the coastline and the full moon, which rose from behind the mountains! At night, it was wonderful to enjoy a drink whilst admiring the stunning landscape. The pool was also an enjoyable experience, with plenty of sunbeds surrounding it. The rooms were big and clean, and it was a comfortable stay. Overall, this property was truly amazing and we loved our stay here.
