Every detail had been thoughtfully considered to ensure maximum comfort – from the super comfy bed to the abundant storage space, everything was just perfect. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our incredible host, Petros. He greeted us with the warmest welcome, complete with wine and refreshments waiting for us upon arrival – such a thoughtful and personal touch! Petros is genuinely one of the kindest, most friendly, and helpful hosts we've ever encountered. His warmth and hospitality made us feel valued, special, and truly cared for throughout our stay. Petros went above and beyond, providing us with fantastic local tips and recommendations. Thanks to him, we were able to explore hidden gems and breathtaking spots we might have otherwise missed. He was always on hand if we needed anything, yet never intrusive – the perfect balance of attentive and respectful. It was a genuine pleasure to chat with him, and meeting him was one of the highlights of our trip. Great location with in walking distance of restaurants bars main strip beach across the road the apartment was great petros the owner was brilliant couldn't do enough for you late check out as well he left bottles of water fruit wine and biscuits in fridge his sons where also very helpful 😀 definitely be back

Petros and his family are amazing hosts that made are stay wonderfull. The apartment has everything that you would need, fully ecquiped kitchen, AC, internet and the most amazing view in Stalida. Everything is walking distance, beach, supermarket, restaurants and night life. Would definetly recommend it to everyone. Thank you Petros!

“Great position for a nice vacation in Crete”

Excellent location of the apartment, in a place that’s half an hour away from Heraklion, yet not too crowded. There are several good restaurants right on the street, and the city beach is a 5-minute walk away. The host is extremely nice, as is his entire family. The apartment consists of two separate rooms, a small bathroom, and a kitchen. It has a terrace overlooking the bay, with a view of the sea. The bedroom is air-conditioned, and the living room has a fan. Window blinds prevent the morning sun from entering the room and waking up those who sleep longer. I personally recommend it for two people or families with up to two children. The apartment is on the first floor (stairs), so in my opinion, it is not suitable for people with disabilities. Quiet atmosphere, no noise or crowds nearby, even though the street is below the apartment.

Petros, Thank you very much for everything. This was an amazing experience in Stalis. We are in love with this apartment and, of course, with the wiev. If you are searching for a beautiful apartment with a beautiful wiev in Stalis, then this is what you need. The apartment had everything you needed. The location was perfect near the beach ( 5 min by foot) , restaurants ( 1 min by foot ), and nightlife ( 6 min by car and 20 min by foot). Petros was extremely helpful and communicative. We also had a very easy check-in and checkout. I definitely recommend this apartment. Look forward to coming again in the future. Ευχαριστώ Petros!

Petros is amazing host and helped us with every question that we had. Apartment has a big balcony with the sea view (most of the time it's in the shade which is great), all of the basic facilities are in + apartment was cleaned each 2 days. Also there's a small supermarket nearby (really just for the basic stuff) and a bigger one in like 10-15 minutes walking. As for the beach it takes around 7-8 minutes to get in there where you'll have lots of sunbeds options (6-10 EUR / 2 persons). Great place for a 1 week vacation, totally recommend.

Petros is a wonderful man. He couldn't do enough for you. He would invite us for a drink. When there was a little hiccup, he would sort it right away. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Some lovely restaurants a couple of feet away and great views of the sea from our bedroom window. The balcony also has fantastic views. A 20 minute walk takes you right into the heart of Stalis.

Great location with sea view close to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. Apartment is spacious, fully equipped and cleaned every second day. The host Petros was very kind. The handover of the keys went well. We've got water, fruits and wine prepared for our arrival. Thank you Petros for this amazing place and your service!

“Perfect host, apartment and location!”

Petros was a wonderful host, informative and welcoming. He greeting us personally with a drink and grapes, and we discovered more treats in the fridge! The apartment was perfect - beautifully decorated with real attention to detail and everything you could want, including a well equipped full kitchen. The apartments are at the quiet end of town with several restaurants and a mini mart within a minute’s walk. We highly recommend Maistrali for lunch or dinner, the food is fantastic and the staff are friendly and professional, providing consistently excellent service. The beach is about 5 minutes’ walk and has soft white sand and a bit of surf to play in. There are spots to lay your towel down or there are lots of sunbeds for hire (usually around 6-8 euros for a set of 2 or if you walk a bit further towards Doha bar they’re all free). Thank you for your kindness Petros, we hope you make it to NZ sometime!

“Cretan hospitality at its best in a perfect location”

The apartment was extremely spacious, well-appointed, and beautifully clean. The balcony has full sun in the morning but offers some welcome shade from lunchtime; it's a great place to have a drink, enjoying the stunning sea view. Petros' hospitality was second to none. We were spoilt throughout our stay, from the fruit bowl and local wine upon arrival to the treats of watermelon, walnuts with honey, sultanas, and the best Raki. The location is great for a day at the beach and having fabulous meals in local restaurants overlooking the sea. The area of Stalis makes it ideal for a relaxing holiday. For the more adventurous, there are also plenty of options to enjoy watersports or hire cars, scooters, beach buggies, or quads at reasonable prices.

My stay was perfect, the location is beautiful and quiet, not far from the beach, the apartment was clean and fully equipped (everything you need), the bed was comfortable, but what makes this place so special is the host, Petros, who is very responsive and real gentleman and he just somehow intuitively knows, what his guest needs:) I felt very welcome and well at Liofoto and would recommend staying here.
