Very nice family-run hotel with comfortable rooms and very kind hosts. Good variety in available options for the breakfast and amazing comfortable sun loungers by the pool. We had drinks and food at the pool bar two times, and were very happy with it. The hosts arranged us a small baby bath even though they didn't have one available normally, so we really appreciated that. It is very easy to get to the beach and bustling street through a small tunnel under the busy road.

George and his family go above and beyond for creating a relaxing and delicious holiday, thanks to the wonderful dinner he makes every night! Great location, as stalis beach is at 5min walking distance and many other nice beaches are within 20min by bus. We felt welcome and enjoyed our holidays, so that we would be really happy to come back! Yamas!

“An amazing family run hotel”

My partner and I absolutely loved our time at this hotel in Stalis. From the moment we arrived, everything was calm, welcoming, and spotless. The whole place is exceptionally clean - our room was immaculate every day and the rest of the property was just as well cared for. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, with a lovely peaceful atmosphere. It’s in the perfect location too, quiet at night for a good sleep, but just a short stroll down to the main strip and beach. What really makes this place special is the family who run it. George is a fantastic cook, we ended up eating at the hotel for several lunches and a dinner, and every single meal was absolutely delicious. The portions are very generous and the food is fresh. George and his wife go above and beyond to look after their guests, and you can feel how much they care. Their daughter Filia is also so lovely, always friendly and helpful at the pool bar, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re thinking of coming to Stalis, we’d highly recommend staying here. We had the most relaxing time and really hope to return soon!

“Wonderful relaxing holiday”

Just returned from a wonderful relaxing 15 day holiday in Stalida at the Filia Luxury Suites with George, Argyro & Filia. We were treated as friends rather than guests and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The hotel is relatively new and in a quiet area but close enough to the shops and the beach. It is maintained to a very high standard with well equiped spacious rooms and particularly good power showers. It was extremely comfortable and a perfect home from home and exceptionally clean. The pool area is well laid out with the most comfortable sunbeds that you would find anywhere. We stayed on a half board basis with good choices at breakfast and amazing meals which varied every evening with starters and main dishes. George is a very accomplished cook and takes great care in preparing the meal. All things being equal we would certainly hope to return in early 2026.

We had a wonderful stay at George’s hotel. The food was absolutely amazing, with something new and delicious every day though sometimes almost too much to resist! The atmosphere was fantastic, especially having dinner next to the bar and pool, which gave a relaxing and friendly vibe. George’s sweet daughter Filia made excellent cocktails at the bar, and the whole family was always around, ready to help with anything. George’s wife impressed us with her humility and hard work—the hotel was always sparkling clean, and towels and sheets were refreshed regularly. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and the swimming pool was first-class: very clean, safe, and surrounded by comfortable sunbeds perfect for relaxing. Overall, it felt like staying with family who truly care about their guests. We would happily come back again!

Filia luxury suites really live up to their name. Luxurious! Had the most relaxing time in a beautiful environment. Loved being there, from the little details to the wonderful food. Perfection. George and family were fantastic hosts (thank you for the abundance of quality meals George and wife). Filia, very sweet and professional young lady, attending to us during our evening meals. The pool and loungers, the room and decor. Comfortable beds, balcony, shower etc. Attention to cleanliness and just an overall feeling of being at ease. Very peaceful and worth returning again and again. A special thank you to Manos for making our departure day go smoothly. Wonderful.

The rooms were amazing we had stayed in the family suite which very large with a nice design. The staff were amazing and extremely hospitable. The breakfast was great and there was a nice bar too. I am definitely coming back to Crete again and I’ll be staying here again
