Great staff, super friendly, food satisfies me (not so much my wife). Plenty room to sunbathe (not so sure in the busy months). Entertainment ok and easy bus stops either way.

The property was very clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained with a wonderful atmosphere. The pools were excellent, and the nearby beaches were absolutely stunning. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, food was delicious! Highly recommended!

“Great spot for a relaxing holiday in Crete”

We stayed at Anastasia Hotel Stalis as a family of travellers from Germany, Ireland and New Zealand: 5 adults plus children aged between 1 and 8. We found the accommodation to be a fantastic fit for our holiday. It is a 3 star accommodation, and we had breakfast and dinner included. A few highlights for us: Multiple pools of different heights, suitable for a range of people. We enjoyed many days by the pool, and found it wasn’t too crowded with a decent number of sunbeds and umbrellas to use. Billiards table - €1.50 per game as of September 2025. The kids loved this one. Mini golf and table tennis. There was a decent selection for the breakfast and dinner meals. We also ate lunch from the hotel for a few of the days, we found it well-priced in comparison to other places in the area. Things to know about the accommodation: Rooms have air conditioning. 6x 1.5L bottles of water are available for purchase at €2.50. You can buy it cheaper from a nearby shop, but it is more convenient to buy direct from Anastasia. At breakfast, there is a hot drinks machine (coffee, hot chocolate etc) and a cold drinks machine (orange drink, apple drink) which are included with breakfast. Otherwise, no other drinks included. At dinner, no drinks are included. The hotel has a bar that drinks can be ordered from, we found the pricing comparable to others in the area. The mocktails were fun, especially the Anastasia Cocktail which was very colourful and the Pina Colada which came in a fun vessel. Sometimes the mocktails came with decorations such as flags and umbrellas which we loved (especially the kids). The bar’s mobile eftpos payment machine seemed to be having a few issues during our stay, however everything was able to be sorted out eventually. Things to know about the area: There is a beach less than 10 minutes walk away, if you wish to utilise sunbeds these tended to be around €10 for 2 beds + umbrella. We enjoyed mixing beach days with pool days.

It was build like a small village with nice residences and gardens around, nice & comfortable apartments for family of 4.Restaurant, bar & pools were all a step away. Greek music during dinner was my favorite. Food was really good.Staff was very willing to help, especially Mr George Babos was very gentle & helpful.Definitely we will come back!

We loved the hotel and the reception staff were all very lovely. We did not use pool facilities as we came for the sea so I can not comment on those facilities. Excellent worth for money, breakfast was good and dinner had different choices every night. Hotel bar could have friendlier prices as from my experience hotel bars tend to be cheaper than bars in town which is not the case here. Keep in mind that there is a bit of a walk to the beach but you can walk across a resort nearby to get there faster. Nearby beaches were very clean and nice.

Food was not great and staff were not friendly. Also pool sunlougers are mostly broken

Excellent price for what you get. Car park in shadow. Pool warm and clean. Younger girl on reception was the best. Also others and all staff. We came earlier and get coffee, biscuits and juice from girl on reception. Daughter 11 years old was enjoying every day on kids entertainment at afternoon.

helpful approach at check in when I was wearing a leg brace & they were concerned that there were 22 stairs to the room - very caring. early check-in appreciated. coffee whilst waiting to be guided to my accommodation also nice. lovely large room/ bathroom (with tub - yippee). good view &, although on main road car parking garages and trees stopped the noise. plain food at breakfast & dinner but well presented, tasty & served at a good temperature. - thoroughly recommended

Really like the staff and receptionist who was very kind and friendly, showing us the whole area and walking us to to our room. Breakfast was very good. Pools were clean and fun.

Excellent facilities and pleasant helpful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner were great with a wide variety to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is amazing the staff very helpful the food is wonderful the bar food is the best I have ever had and I have been going to create for twenty years and it is well priced I took my mum 3 weeks ago and she loved it and if she liked it must be good I will definitely be going back thanks for the best holiday s ever
