We had a wonderful stay! Mrs. Stella is absolutely lovely and extremely hospitable. The rooms were cleaned every day, which made our stay even more comfortable. We were also treated to the famous traditional Skopelos cheese pie – it was truly delicious and so much better than the ones we tried in restaurants. Highly recommended!

“Wonderful Stay with Kind-Hearted Host”

We had a great experience at this property. The owner was incredibly kind and always willing to help, even with some language barriers. They won’t intrude during your stay, but if you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask, they’re happy to assist with whatever you need. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk to Stafylos Beach, a stunning spot with clear waters and a beautiful rocky mountain backdrop. The beach stretches beyond the first cove, so even during busy times, you can find a quieter area if you keep walking. Transportation is very convenient. There are two bus stops in Stafylos, and the second one is right in front of the property, perfect for catching the bus to Skopelos Town or to the other side of the island. We were there during peak season and the buses were frequent and ran on schedule. The property itself is comfortable and clean. There's a shared kitchen in the garden and each room has its own private fridge with a freezer. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels, and our balcony had a drying rack that came in very handy. The bed was also extremely comfortable, one of the best we had on our trip. To get accurate location, n Google maps you can search the following: (Το Κτήμα της Ματίνας) to find it easier for non-Greeks. One special highlight: their homemade traditional cheese pie is absolutely delicious, far better than anything you’ll find in shops. If you want to try it, skip the shops and ask them directly, it’s worth it. Overall, a peaceful, relaxing stay with warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Great location to stay close to Stafylos beach (by walking) and close to other great beaches (though bus or car) such as Panormos, Milia, Kastani. Matina does not speak english but is welcoming and nice! The room is essential and very basic, and for the price You cannot ask for more. It's very cheap and if You rent a car it's a perfect spot to stay close to the city (5 minutes by car) and the beaches. The bus station is very close too: beware that there are very few buses with strict schedules. I'd surely recommend this one with a car rather than with public transportation.

“Pleasant stay from the greenery to the sea”

Matina and Stella's house is a gem in the greenery! Our room was comfortable and clean and had a great view on the hills. You only have to walk 15 mins to get to the beautiful beaches of Stafylos and Velanio. If you want to move to other beaches or towards Skopelos there's a bus stop in front of the house (check the timetable). It was a very pleasant stay :)

Good location to explore the island, slightly remote and away from Skopelos Town which, anyway, seemed very crowded when we visisted - just have in mind there is no restaurant and supermarket within a reasonable walking distance therefore I advise you to come here if you have at your disposal some transport mean. Bus station is very close, but I don't know the efficiency of the service. The room for 4 persons was big enough, in fact it was an apartment - a positive surprise for us as the pictures on booking reflected just a large room. Daily cleaning and large comfortable beds. Parking space is available in the backyard. This is all we needed as we were leaving early morning for beach and island exploration and returned in the late evening :)
