“A fairytale Christmas atmosphere in a quiet place”

Super cosy place. Bed was comfy, bathroom functional but clean. My absolute highlight was the breakfast, it was sooooo good. Everybody was friendly and helpful. I can only recommend this place as a stop on the Malerweg.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Every day, they gave us advice on trips. The hotel is ideally located for hiking in the surrounding area. You can safely leave your car at the hotel for the entire duration of your stay.

“Homestay-style guesthouse on the Elbe”

Pension am Nationalpark can be considered more like a homestay, although there seemed to be a lot of rooms. It is located in a detached house in a very quiet and prosperous area along the Elbe. My room was rather small with a private bathroom. I was mainly looking for a place to stay for one night near the Bastei. If you are driving, please note that the last few kilometers are on very narrow roads. However, these are not dangerous, but rather the opposite, as they are shared roads for pedestrians, bicycles and cars, so cars have to drive very slowly. The breakfast was more extensive than usual.

Absolutely amazing location just by the river and mountains. Lovely pension with great choice of breakfast and comfortable rooms. Tastefully decorated.

Beautiful location. Clean room. Very lovely breakfast with homemade specialty jams etc. that even included vegan options (when requested). Staff was very kind and helpful. Contactless check-in when you come outside of check-in hours. A perfect place to rest up and enjoy nature. Parking was available and pets were allowed. Even though we didn't bring any we love meeting others' pets on holidays.

Very nice room with small kitchenette. Perfect starting point for hiking in rocky areas around. Excellent breakfasts.

Very quiet and calm, clean room, well maintained. We liked the breakfast a lot, as well as the help from the kind host with the planning of our walking trips in the area

The morning buffet was so good and big, so many variations of everything. Big rooms and good toilet. Water upon arrival and a nice clean double room with double bed. Amazing view over the Elben lake, this place is like a hidden gem. The staff put in alot of effort to hand over as much information that you need for the area and your stay. We just check in throw a pin code. Was close to hike areas.

“Clean cozy room with great host and breakfast”

The location is about 20 minutes from the ferry/S Bahn. The room is very clean, cozy and welcoming, with the forest in the back. It has a lovely garden. Key pick-up process is easy, and the breakfast is amazing with so many choice of marmalades. The staff are all friendly. I find the shower very comfortable. Definitely worth the money and want to visit again!

“Amazing place in the heart of the amazing region”

Location is quite and picturesque with convenient connections to everyone. Kitchen in the room is fully equipped with nice selection of cutlery and dishes. Breakfast is good with wide variety of cheese, spreads, breads, tee and delicious jams of crazy flavors. Also chairs in the breakfast hall are comfy provoking to sit and stare in the windows. Bed in the room is amazing, I haven't slept that good for ages! Compared to other hotels nearby parking facilities seem to be outstanding.

The hosts were exceptional, the property was amazing. We had nice big room for us to relax. The jams are must try, I will try to come back again. There were restaurants nearby and do try local food from "Imbiss Zur Habe". Lastly the location is amazing with slight rain in the evening it made my stay even better. The only thing that I could have changed is the length of my stay, I should added at least 1 more day to in the stay
