“Nice comfy stay”

The room was comfy with all the basics needed. The guesthouse is near a train line but with the window closed it did not bother us at all. The walls seemed very thick as there was a family next door and we didn't hear them at all. The owner was very welcoming and booked a lovely breakfast at the neighbouring property. It was very close to the river ferry and perfect for us walking the malerweg.

We were a bit early, but the hosts let us in anyway and helped us stow our gear. The place is a nice little mini mansion, with a library and study room for all and good sized rooms. Despite being right by the train, there was very little noise pollution.

* Very good value for money * Friendly hosts - my German isn't very good, but they explain everything slowly and simply so that I understood well * The previous reviews and the host all acknowledge the train noise, which wasn't an issue for me as the windows remained closed (raining & cold). With earplugs, the noise was not noticeable. The host has installed an air-con unit in case the room gets too hot, but I didn't need to use it

Great value accommodation for walking the Malerweg - very clean. The hotness very friendly when he showed us the facilities.

Massive flat with all facilities needed. Kitchen, 2 bed rooms, bathroom, separate toilet and a massive balcony with a very pleasant view. All in all very nice and clean. It was near a busy train line but the ventilation system provided by the host was fine to keep the noise out and the bedrooms ventilated/aired. Travelling by train/public transport or foot is excellent for that property.

The host was there to check us in and was available for queries and requests. Free bike rental was great! Public pool near by great bonus for the kids! Also, great flexibility with check-out.

Lovely friendly staff, right on the river with great beer garden attached which served delicious food.

“Enjoyable time in Wehlen”

Enjoyed the location on the other side of town (very frequent ferry service, covered by Deutschland-Ticket) and access to the nearby public pool (with a slide!). Had to call on arrival, but Mr. Langer (very friendly) arrived within a minute or two for the meet and greet. Found that my initial concern about train traffic was unfounded (courtesy of solid German windows). Room and bath (separate floors) were very clean.

Big, comfy room. Very clean. Books and entertainment available. Good communication from the owners. Sorry that I could not reply to their kind messages because booking's messages page did not work. But I did get the instructions so it was all good!

The room was a great size and very convenient location for us as we were walking on the Malerweg.
