Set on an Icelandic horse farm, 17 km from Borgarnes town centre, Hestaland Guesthouse Horse Farm Stay is 2 km off Iceland’s Ring Road. The house is shared with other guests, but everyone has their own private room, which worked very well. Our room was very nice, everything felt new, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean and modern. The bed was also very comfortable. I really liked the common areas as well. There is a cozy living space with sofas where you can relax, as well as a dining room where you can enjoy breakfast. Outside, there are tables where you can sit with a coffee and enjoy the beautiful mountain view.

It's a peacefull place and you are surrounded by nature and horses. Also, good place for aurora. Clean rooms, free parking, self check-in.

Easy to find, simple check in process, super clean room and bathroom, very nicely furnished. You get bathrobes in the room if you want to use the hot tub. The room was nicely warm when we arrived.

Lovely guesthouse on a horse farm. Did the trail ride in the afternoon which was a great experience with Icelandic horses. Rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable.

“A farm stay that feels like home.”
As soon as I walked into Hestaland it felt like a home. It was so relaxed and easy to stay there. It's very country which I loved. It's about 2kms from the main road and you pass sheep and horses right before you arrive. It's about a 15 minute drive from Borgarnes & there's a petrol station that serves hot food only an 8 minute drive away. Occasionally I'd hear horses neighing or trotting past and if I'd had time would have loved to do the horse riding they offer.

Perfect location with good rooms (good beds, with a personal shower and toilet). The kitchen was shared but had all the facilities required for a guesthouse. Located near a horse stable where you can have outdoor and indoor rides.
