“an iconic building but staffing levels too low to provide a good experience”
big room, grand furniture in bedroom and bathroom. excellent location near museums and pier ( beach access from pier). roof top bar great for evening drinks and meal. dinner downstairs good food and great pianist the night we went.

“All was good, apart from breakfast which was far worse than I expected.”
Breakfast was not good. I am used four star hotels have hot breakfast which is cooked on the day rather than packs of food to open and mix with milk etc. This is a definite drawback.

Location to St Pete main front . Roof terrace really good . Old classic style hotel. Our upgraded bedroom overlooking park gave us a great view of St Pete .

This hotel is gorgeous. Small, beautifully decorated, large double Queen room which was perfect for us. Refresh of room and towels available every day which was welcome. Staff were attentive and friendly. Car valeting was a great service. Air con great! Great location close to St Pete Pier and lots of bars/restaurants

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice. Was very fresh and constantly replaced. Location is ideal. Great to have valet parking available.

“Nice Hotel…great location”
Nice large room and bath with comfortable beds. excellent location..in the heart of St Pete restaurant and pub scene..and of course the new Pier! breakfast was okay..warm scrambled eggs and bacon…the canopy (rooftop bar) was nice but the furnishings were very well worn and frumpy looking…time for a redo!

“Gorgeous Bathroom!”
I liked that there was a valet outside to help us. Staff is minimal & wear several hats though, with the front desk closed in the evening. The room (bathroom in particular) is gorgeous! French doors and beautiful tub with separate shower. The room is VERY DARK and no mirrors. Recommend bringing a light up makeup mirror that can also be used with a water bottle to brighten up the room (Amazon). No frig, no ice machine. I had the ice bucket filled at the bar. Really nice location. Food & service was good at restaurant.

Great location, right opposite the water. Restaurants close by. We had a front room suite. The room itself was beautiful and nicely appointed.
