Hotel Waldhaus am See lies on the shores of the St. Moritz Lake and offers a breath-taking view of the surrounding mountains of the Engadin Valley. The rooms are decorated in a wooden, traditional style and the hotel has a sauna, a solarium and a steam bath alongside with relaxing massages. The specialities of the Waldhaus am See include barbecue, fondue and fish dishes, as well as excellent wines and spirits. The largest whisky bar in the world with over 2500 different kinds of whisky is housed at the hotel. Mountain bikes are available free of charge and guests can request a free shuttle service from and to the train station.

“A nice hotel on the shores of Lake St. Moritz.”
The room is small, as you'd expect for the price. The shower and hairdryer work perfectly, and the room temperature can be perfectly adjusted. The whiskey bar is amazing. I tried some Swiss whiskey.

Lovely old building, with beautiful views over the lake. Breakfast was exceptional, made to order omelettes and everything you could imagine.

“Great location for train travellers”
Great location at the end of the lake and close to the train station. Although the room we were initially allocated was extremely small and cramped the staff readily agreed to move us to a much nicer, larger room. We had great views of the lake and the mountains from the balcony outside the room.

Perfect hotel in every respect and excellently managed. Room very nicely furnished and quiet, very good bed. The hotel personnel throughout top-class. The restaurant where also breakfast is served, is stylish and classy, done with very good taste, like everything else in the hotel. A particular highlight was the breakfast buffet with a vast selection of goodies; the same goes for the salad buffet at dinner. The hotel building itself I believe is from the late 19th century and beautifully renovated, and it boasts a superb position right at the lake and the lake walk, with a magnificent view.

A great location at the side of the lake. A good restaurant with friendly staff. After initially being offered a room next to the hotel’s laundry services we were offered a free upgrade with a small balcony. Good parking site.

Classic hotel overlooking the lake. My room had a stunning view across the lake. The room was very clean and quite comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The sound insulation between rooms was much better than in most hotels, this was the quietest hotel I've stayed in for ages, resulting in the best night's sleep I've had on my trip so far. Very good breakfast with a wonderful view. City card included which was a bonus.
