Overview
Situated in an idyllically calm and natural area in Suvretta, 2 km from the centre of St. Moritz, the Hotel Chesa Spuondas offers you a unique historic yet friendly atmosphere. The hotel's rooms have been furnished like private bedrooms rather than hotel rooms. You can find both antique and modern décor. Some rooms have big original bathrooms and most have oiled parquet floors. Fine cuisine from organic ingredients of local origin is served for dinner and for lunch you can order snacks or salads. Spacious public areas including a library with free internet access invite you to unwind. Moreover, the Chesa Spuondas provides lots of activities for kids and features a play room. Forest, meadows, woods and streams surround the hotel and the lakes of Lej Marsch and Lej Nair are only 10 and 20 minutes' walk away. It is a 5-minute drive to Lake Silvaplana where kite surfing, windsurfing , fishing and sailing are possible. Samedan Golf Course is a 10-minute drive away. You can park your car for free on site. For stays of 2 nights or more, guests can use all busses and mountain railways in the region free of charge during summer and receive a discount on ski passes in winter.

“Charming, historic hotel in a peaceful location”
Absolutely charming, historic building. Full of character and in a very peaceful location just outside St Moritz. The view down the valley was incredible. Amazing, friendly staff. We chose the half board option and the food was delicious with a 3 course dinner and an excellent range for breakfast. Lovely forest trails straight from the door.

The view. Location was beautiful but far from city center. I read in reviews that they give you free transfer from hotel to city center, it didn't happen.

Big old house like staying with relatives . Location is good as free bus In to st moritz . Gardens and walks near by , staff are lovely and helpful.Bath in room after a cold day in snow.Breakfast was nice

Beautiful historic hotel, very characteristic and unique. Our family of four (two kids ages 4 and 7) very welcomed by such a warm staff, and so many kid friendly areas and amenities. It was the perfect stay for our short trip.
