The location was perfect for our first time visiting Newfoundland! The breakfast was just what we needed to start our day off to hike and tour around. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Hoping to visit again some time in the future!

“Would recommend it to friends of”
Great location, 5 mins to a great bar, 10 mins to the main strip. We walked everywhere, Signall hill, Quidi Vidi, all over town. Lovely to stay in a unique guest house and not a boring chain. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about NFL and couldn’t do enough to make your stay great.

We enjoyed everything…the location was perfect, an easy walk to city centre and to a number of major tourist sites. The house was so welcoming, the room was large and comfortable, the hosts and staff were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. It felt like home away from home…safe and comfy.

Location was great - at one end of historic St John’s. Croissants and pan au chocolate delish, rooms were quiet. A friendly and comfortable place to stay - a real home away from home.

“It was a great location. Somewhat disappointed given it was also the most expensive we stayed in.”
The breakfast was good. It was a continental. There were lots of options especially for myself who is gluten free. I also liked the fact that they had a fridge available to the guests so you could purchase something for lunch or supper if you wanted and sit and eat it there.

“Was a perfect stay, with a perfect location to get downtown, signal hill, hikes & Quidi Vidi.”
Breakfast was perfect, plenty of great coffee & simple breakfast. Coffee & tea available all day which was really nice in the afternoon. Spare fridge for guests was very helpful.

The location is fantastic. Our hosts were open, helpful, and warm. So nice to have laundry facilities available on site! And the common spaces were beautiful-- a bright kitchen and back deck and garden.
