The breakfasts were delicious, hot and on time. Mary was awesome and went out of her way to help in any way she could. Great to chat with her. The towels were luxurious and the beds VERY comfortable. The room was quiet. The bathroom was spacious.

We just finished a 2 night stay at the beautiful Ryan Mansion in St. John's. Our room was fantastic with the most comfortable king size bed and spacious bathroom. We were given plush robes and slippers. The most enjoyable part of the Inn is the hostess Mary! She is so friendly, accommodating and provides the best recommendations for your stay. She provided the best homemade breakfast we have ever had. Mary goes out of her way to ensure all your needs are met. We highly recommend you stay at this Mansion with so much history! The house is beautifully decorated, the bedrooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable, but there was no milk or sugar on the coffee tray (and no one around to request some). The public rooms downstairs are stylish and comfortable. There is a bar but it wasn't staffed and we couldn't figure out if it was an honesty bar or not so we left it alone. There is off road parking available.

Absolutely loved the carefully and skilfully made breakfast each day, served in beautiful surroundings. Bed and bedding were luxurious, and rooms are so tastefully appointed. The artwork throughout the house is stunning, as are the many fine pieces of furniture and rugs, lamps and the like. A pleasure to be in such an atmosphere.

We loved everything. The breakfast was incredible and the property was unique, perfectly located, and gorgeous. Mary was welcoming, helpful, and took such good care of us. Her warmth and kindness made us feel at home. Robert was a gracious host and had excellent recommendations for what to see and where to eat. We had a fabulous time and can’t wait to return to Newfoundland where we will absolutely stay at The Ryan Mansion.

Location is good, next to a big park, 10-15 min walk from Water street and its retaurants. Nice breakfast (eggs and fresh fruits)
