Overview
This restored townhouse is located in the colourful historic centre of St. John’s and is 8 minutes’ drive from St. John’s Airport. Free WiFi is provided. A beautiful, patterned wooden floor, skylights and curved windows are found in each traditional room of the Gower House. A flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower massager are also included. All public and private areas of the house are non-smoking. The Rooms Cultural Centre is 1 km from the Gower House. The Newman Wine Vaults are 5 minutes’ drive away.

Facilities are super clean; easy process even though it was contactless; bed was really comfortable and sufficient linens, bla kets and pillows. Common areas were really clean and comfortable as well. Parking was convenient and easy to use once you figure out where it is.

Downstairs was all common space so lots of room. Good croissants. Very quiet but very close to historic downtown and The Ship Pub. Felt part of the neighbourhood.

Basic but good location, 10 min walk from Water street and its restaurants. No issue to find parking in the street. We didn't take it, but they provide basic self-service breakfast which can be nice. Easy check-in following the received instructions.

The location was great, so close to all the restaurants and shops. The house itself is quiet and has everything you need.

Great quiet location within walking distance of shopping, a variety of restaurants and pubs. Started each morning with a fresh pot of coffee. Options for a lite breakfast were available with options for a more substantial breakfast just a couple of blocks away. Given the limited parking in the area, having access to free parking near the quest house was a bonus. While the temperatures were fairly mild, we did have to use the AC once to cool the room down at the end of the day.
