What a gem! Musselcracker B&B is situated in the most unique setting not too far a drive from Cape Town. We enjoyed the beautiful environment, including a comfortable space with seaside interior decor, warm hospitality, a private beach, access to outdoor activities and marine life all within reach of the establishment.

“A slice of heaven”
The location is spectacular! You are right on the water, better than the pictures. Room is comfortable and has everything you need, including the sound of the ocean. Hosts are wonderful people, cannot do enough for you. Excellent breakfast and lovely little touches all round.

“Perfect family break”
The owners are so welcoming and friendly 🥰 . The view is idyllic and cannot be matched. Saw dolphins, seals, so many birds, gulls, shells, the sea has life and the beach is clean. Had lovely long beach walks, and spent perfect family time with our uni kids that needed the break. The breakfasts were amazing - Karen makes delicious everything- breads, jams, etc etc

Loved everything. The hosts were very friendly, made sure we were well looked after and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Thank you, Karen, and Rod. Loved the Cappuccino's Karen, thank you. The house is beautifully furnished and super clean. Breakfast catered to everyone's tastes with a huge variety. The stunning views were breathtaking. Couldn't go to all restaurants in St. Helena Bay, but the 2 we visited in our short stay had delicious food and a variety of choices, no need to leave town for food. Have visited many guesthouses, B&B's, hotels and lodges in my life, but this was by far the best ever. I suggest this establishment 200% and more.

Meeting Karen and Rod was a highlight! This guesthouse a gem in every sense of the word. The experience, mingling with guests around a scrumptious breakfast table of homemade and other delicacies (in one of the most sublime settings one could wish for) was extraordinary. Our room, the living rooms, honesty bar, pool area and more ... were of the highest standard and we were sad that we did not stay another day to linger and enjoy relaxing in this little slice of heaven. Thank you Karen and Rod!
