“Charming, quirky , could be amazing”

The staff were excellent and the breakfasts were very good, Ellie was super helpful , the room was clean and the bed comfy , the location was perfect for St Augustine. Our only constructive feedback is that the property needs a bit of tlc, the paint is peeling and the garden very neglected , there is only 1 member of staff on duty at a time and they work very hard doing all of the hospitality chores , but a gardener and handyman would be helpful to refresh the property. The flag at the front of the house ( which is charming and very pretty) was greening and torn, dead plants in tubs, overgrown and weeded garden, some of the decor is very tired , rugs , curtains etc need replacing . Having said that I would stay here again because of the staffing and charm as well as superb location . Thank you

Quirky rambling guesthouse in the heart of old St Augustine. Walking distance to everything and very comfortable!

The hotel is super well located, you can walk to the first trolling station which is 3 minutes away and you will get to know the entire historic center of St. Augustine . The hotel is beautiful, full of antique details, and the hosts are two lovely, kind women who are dedicated to their work of taking care of their guests in the best way possible. The breakfasts were incredible.The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable... I will be returning to this hotel soon.

“Good location for visiting historic part”

Excellent location with free parking Characterful property We had a room with balcony which was nice to relax on, also comfortable outside area where we enjoyed happy hour. Room was v clean however the furniture & table on balcony was v dusty. No choice at breakfast, we were served eggs Benedict but no other items. We were able to check in early which was appreciated. Saw v little of any staff.

Our room was right next door to breakfast this was appreciated didn’t have to go upstairs or downstairs to carry our bags we had 4 suitcases as we were travelling for two weeks prior to coming to the Penny Farthing

Lovely quirky house. Comfortable room and really comfortable bed. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We arrived early and Ann made sure our room was ready for us. Loved the happy hour meeting other guests. Breakfast was also very good. Location is fantastic, you can leave your car and walk everywhere.
