Beautiful rooms in a fantastic location. The staff are exceptional and it feels like you are being welcomed home. Rooms are spotless and with a lovely view. Pool is great and a peaceful place to chill. The best place to stay on Koh Phangan.

“Magical Mangata.”

The fabulous welcome and great communication throughout. Cycy could not do enough to make our second visit to Mangata as good as our first. Entering the gates is like walking into an oasis. The noise of the mopeds is left behind and a garden of tranquility awaits . Looking over the infinity pool to the sea never fails to delight. Every colour of blue and turquoise is visible beyond the palm trees. The rooms are extremely well maintained and clean and have everything you need. The dining options close by are well above the standard expected.

Beautiful welcome by Cicy and all of her staff. Perfect room and swimming pool with stunning view. Everything was so nice and we want to come back already ;)

“Great Host and Location”

We had a wonderful stay at Mångata Boutique Bungalows on Koh Phangan. From the moment we arrived, Cycy made us feel incredibly welcome. She sent us a very detailed message with great recommendations for restaurants, massage spots, markets, and things to do on the island, which helped us a lot during our stay. The little extras here are fantastic: adapters for all kinds of devices, games, snorkeling equipment, a stand-up paddle board, and more. You really feel that a lot of thought went into making guests comfortable. Everything felt relaxed, friendly, and personal. We were extremely happy with our stay. If we come back to Koh Phangan, we will definitely stay with Cycy again. Highly recommended!

“Perfect”

Attention to detail was fantastic, every little thing you could need was there. The little kitchen was a great idea so you could make a snack or simple meal. The glass water bottles and water dispenser was a great addition to saving single use plastic bottles as was the recycling bins. Owners responsive and organised taxis and mopeds during our stay. Perfect position and pool was great. Fantastic range of restaurants nearby.

“A real gem …”

Cycy was fantastic to deal with from the moment we made our booking. She offered a really warm welcome and helped us with organising Taxis to and from the port. Cycy also provided us with extensive information regarding where to eat/drink which was really helpful. The rooms were beautiful, and cleaned daily. Location wise, you are a short walk down the beach to many of the restaurants/bars. And it’s very handy having a 7 eleven across the road. Honestly could not fault it.

“A tropical paradise!”

This places is a hidden gem! An absolute delight, both private, quiet and secluded whilst being only a short walk away from everything you might want for the perfect get away. I could not recommend it more. The room was delightful, the pool breathtaking, the views out of this world. The choice of restaurants locally (as in 5 mins walk) were fantastic. If I could come here all the time I would!

“That true paradise vibe.”

The bungalow was beautiful (exactly like in the pictures). The location is perfect, just a 10 minute drive from the ferry pier, and the sunsets here are absolutely amazing. There are coffee shops and beach bars nearby, but it still feels nice and quiet. Cycy, our host is an incredible lady. We’ve never had such a wonderful experience before. She took care of everything and was always happy to help with any questions. We really loved that she provides Uno cards and snorkeling set.

“Beautiful little paradise”

When you enter the beautiful decorated wood gate of Mangata, you immediately feel like you have arrived in paradise. Cycy is incredibly kind, always giving great advice, and the staff is absolutely amazing. The rooms are perfectly cleaned every day, and the bed is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, with a beautiful view from every bungalow, and you can feel the attention given to every detail. The location is perfect on the island. The best breakfast on the island is just across the road, easy to take away and enjoy on the bungalow terrace. The pool is great as well, and if you prefer the sea water, the Mangata set up on the beach is superb. everything is very well maintained, and there are great restaurants nearby for the evening.

We loved the bungalow, the little details and the design. The facility felt very secluded although it has a perfect location- close to a lot of restaurants bars coffee places and 7-11. Very nice beach for sunsets!

“An amazing place in a perfect location – despite some issues, we would definitely come back.”

A beautiful place in a perfect location, walking distance from cafés and restaurants, right across from 7-Eleven, and in a central spot where taxis pass all the time, which is great for those not using a scooter or car on the island. The laundry service was very helpful. Cycy, the host, was amazing – she helped us with taxis, finding a rental car, recommendations, and more. Although we usually like to try different places, this is one we will definitely return to next time we are in Koh Phangan.

We had a wonderful stay at Mangata! Cycy is an amazing host - kind, helpful, and full of great tips about the island. The bungalow and the whole place were super clean, smells good, beautifully designed, and well-equipped (snorkels, SUP, beach towels, etc). The location is great! close to everything. Cycy also helped us rent a motorbike and arranged transport from and to the pier. Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back! Thank you for everything, amazing Cycy!

“The perfect boho resort in the best location.”

This cute little resort was simply perfection. It’s small, just 5 bungalow, and every little detail has been thought through. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom great, and lovely balconies overlooking the pool and beach. Cycy the owner was so attentive and helpful, you couldn’t find a better host. There’s so much within walking distance, amazing restaurants, a supermarket, massage, laundry and bike/car hire. We only stayed for 2 days and wish it was 10. Highly recommend, we loved every moment. Thank you Cycy, we loved our 2 bungalows and the opportunity to catch up in such a beautiful location.
