“relaxed and plenty of space and options”
During a month in Sri Lanka, I stayed on a couple of occasions... both weekends and whilst working remotely. The facilities and furniture are excellent. The host worked as a lawyer but I was encouraged to ask his assistant, who speaks perfect English and is often on the premises for anything guests require or else a phone call away. Several areas in the property allow social interaction. I had several visits from architects and furniture makers etc. . When I needed privacy for work & video calls, there are several private areas. Excellent large rooms, cable TV and quick internet /WiFi I also enjoyed a number of meals, both western and Sri Lankan - fabulous cook. Caveat - ensure you mark the property on Google maps. The host /assistant organised a car/driver at a very reasonable day rate as I needed to attend several meetings/locations around Colombo. This worked better than waiting for Uber. Hailsham is less than 10min from Expressway that took me to Galle, the airport and 30 mins from Colombo 7
