Location was beautiful, the wine tasting was a great experience, the cottages are cozy and create a special vibe. You have sauna and jacuzzi that overlook the valley. The owners are wonderful people.

“Very nice experience”
We had a wonderful few days staying in Skatlar 2. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Used hot tub and sauna daily. Plenty of wood supplied for fire and the cottage was very warm. The family were on hand to answer questions via WhatsApp and they gifted us some of their lovely wine. The wine tasting experience was very special and we highly recommend this place if you love wine and lots of it! A truly unique Slovenian experience. You need a car to stay here but there is plenty to do nearby.

We had two nights at this dreamy cottage that we would never forget! Amazing view, very very clean, the host is so warm and kind and he really loves what he and his family doing! The winery tasting was an amazing and unforgetable experience! Thank you so much for everything!!!

We had an unforgettable, relaxing stay at the Škatlar cottages (our group rented #2 and #3). The property itself is stunning, right in the middle of the vineyard, overlooking the mountains. The cottage is charming and had everything we needed for our stay. The private hot tub and sauna were an added bonus! Access to the wine cellar is down a small hill under one of the other cottages. The owner Matjaz was so friendly, he shared his knowledge & love of wine with us with a wine tasting on the day of our arrival. It was one of our favorite experiences and places we stayed in Slovenia. Highly recommend!!

There's not much else to say than: outstanding and perfect. We didn't really know what to expect but we totally stoked when we arrived. The view from the cottage is just incredible. The cottage is very lovely arranged and furnished. A quiet and lovely place to relax. Matjaž and Anna are very friendly hosts and very willing to help. We will come back!
