Overview
Housed in a 18th-century building, Palazzo De Castro offers free Wi-Fi throughout and Baroque-style rooms. Located just 16 km from the town of Lecce, it features an extensive breakfast with organic produce. The rooms are very spacious and elegantly furnished with attention to details, boasting antique and refined furnishings and views over the square. Each en suite room comes with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a dressing room. Some rooms also have a balcony. Breakfast is served daily in the dining area or in the comfort of your own room. It includes local produced ingredients. In the De Castro Palazzo you can sit and unwind in the elegant common living room, which has sofas and a cosy fireplace. Porto Cesareo with its beaches is a 35-minute drive from the property, while the Adriatic Sea can be reached by car in 15 minutes. Squinzano Train Station is 500 metres away. On request, excursions can be organised to Lecce and Santa Maria Cerrate.

We are delighted to have had the opportunity to spend one day in the exceptional apartments. It was a unique experience in a historic building. The welcome was very warm. We would especially like to thank Loredana, who welcomed us in the kitchen for breakfast, treated us to her homemade lemon cake, a wonderful cappuccino, and educated us on how to eat the Apulian bread Friselle👌.Thank you very much for this experience!🤗

If you want a different accommodation experience, then this hotel is what you need! For lovers of not just old style, but antiquity, classic aesthetics and design. Great opportunity to cover everything at once. In addition to the palace itself, the town in which it is located provides such an atmosphere - an old, typical European town where local gentlemen play dominoes at the Central square during the day, and open-air movies are shown there in the evening. Incredible atmosphere! In the morning, you will be served a classic South Italian style breakfast in a superbly equipped kitchen, in its original 30's of XX centure style. Congrats to its owners for the experience provided for their guests

“Beautiful place”
The palazzo is very beautiful and romantic, the welcome we received was very warm, the room splendid and comfortable. But the best part for us was the absolutely delicious breakfast with fresh figs and home made cakes in the most stunning setting. Lecce is only 20 mins drive from the property.

The place was majestic! It was a one of a kind experience. This place is a hidden gem! We felt as if we traveled to the past! The communication was easy and the people very friendly! They also recommended many beautiful and delicious places alike. We would definitely come here again and also recommend this to anyone who asks!
