This Elegant European bed and breakfast features Victorian style guest rooms with a clawfoot tub. Fantastic Caverns, the only North American drive-through cave, is 10 minutes’ ride away. Direct TV and free Wi-Fi are available in all rooms at The Mansion at Elfindale. Each room is air conditioned. The Elfindale Wedding Chapel is decorated with brass candelabras and columns. Live streaming is available. The main building can hold up to 800 people. The Springfield-Branson National Airport is 9 miles from Elfindale Mansion. It is a special place and we really loved our room which was spacious and had enough natural light. But it's definitely not for everyone, so look good at the photos to decide if you'd be comfortable in such a special setting before booking. I need to confess that I wouldn't have been comfortable in the darker rooms we could visit. Also keep in mind that there is no elevator. Our host was very nice and we very much appreciated the warm welcome. The neighbourhood was quiet and we had a lovely walk to stretch our legs after a long drive.

The ambience is amazing. The rooms are enormous and unique and beds very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It's just totally different to anything else we've stayed in.

A visual delight! If you like historical buildings, this is your place. Beautifully renovated and very clean. The receptionist (I think her name was Myra) was WONDERFUL. We made plans to arrive early and she gave us a tour and explained the history of the large building when we arrived. I loved the different types of rooms, and enjoyed going up the spiral staircase to the tower room. The hallways on each floor are as huge as a little ballroom and full of time-appropriate furniture. Breakfast was delicious and hot!
