“I believe there was a breakdown in communication between the Host & Booking.com”
Nothing. I was informed by he Facility Host, Sam, that Booking com must refund me since he did not receive the payment for my booking. I was stranded and had to return back home. This was a huge disappointment as I spent my valuable time and money just not to be booked in. Please look into this matter urgently

Not much. The location of the booking in relation the venue we were going to was the ONLY plus. We arrived to no welcome, at 3.15 which we had advised on pre-booking. The front door did not lock, the bedroom did not have a key to lock it. The property had no toilet paper, it was a communal bathroom - which was not mentioned on the listing. No soap, the towels were old and grubby. The "luxury suite" had a lumpy bed. We left after an hour and did not return. Drove an hour to get home at 11pm, rather than stay there.
