Overview
Built in traditional Walser style, Hotel Suretta is located in the centre of Splügen next to the Hinterrhein River. It offers en-suite room with a flat-screen TV, traditional Swiss cuisine and a free shuttle to the Tambo Cable Car. The rooms feature light, solid wooden furniture and exposed wooden beams. They offer views of the Tambo, Teuri and Surettaseen mountains and the valley. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel. Breakfast is served every morning and typical Swiss specialities and international cuisine can be enjoyed in the restaurant. Private parking is available free of charge 30 metres from the Suretta hotel. The Splügen exit of the A 13 motorway is just 500 metres away. Within a 15-minute drive you the Andeer Thermal Bath.

“Central, convenient, comfortable with great value for money and very nice and attentive hosts”
Great location in the middle of the village, few minutes walk from the ski slopes and just across the best cheese shop of the region. We use to come often for the terrasse which had the longest sun exposure, and tested the hotel for the first time. The rooms were surprisingly comfortable (for the “older” style) and the breakfast really top notch! As for the food, definitely leveled up since the owner changed. The Toblerone mousse is a must try! We’ll be back!

“Small clean, friendly hotel ideal for a stopover”
This is a nice hotel. Small and basic with older style rooms. However, everything is very clean, a reasonable choice on the evening menu and an excellent breakfast. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. There is a small hotel car park 50 yards away. The views from the hotel are wonderful.

“Avoid!”
After trying to get in touch with the hotel for over a month by phone, email and through booking.com after making our booking and never once getting a response we decided to accept the offer of cancellation made by a booking.com employer. We were enquiring about the parking and early check in, both of which mentioned on the listing for the property. Spent a further three months trying to get a response from them regarding our cancellation but again never a response! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived quite late, but there were no issues in having an evening meal in the restaurant which was lovely. Our room overlooked the mountain and was stunning. We could easily have spent a few days there. The continental breakfast was great, lots of choice and plentiful. Would highly recommend.

“Great hotel for a stopover in Splügen”
The check-in was quick and easy, we got to our room 5 min after our arrival. Loved the food at dinner, which we could have at 5pm - fresh and big portions, which we appreciated after a long and strenuous hike. Good breakfast too.

“Lovely hotel, friendly staff, scrumptious food”
The hotel was in an excellent location and I had a large room on the second floor. Whilst a little old fashioned it was clean, in good condition and everything worked. The hotel staff were very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant were both excellent. There was a small car about 50 yards along the road and I got a space there but other parking was available in the village and it all seemed very safe. Fantastic views in all directions.
