Set within the UNESCO-protected Palace of Diocletian in Split, Villa Valeria is named after Diocletian's daughter. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The popular sandy beach of Bačvice is 1.5 km away. All units are air-conditioned and come with a flat-screen TV, desk and safe box. There is also a shared kitchenette, equipped with an oven. “Convenient location, afforable stay”
The Villa location is good, not only close to the palace, but also has many shops and restaruants around. The owner Marija is friendly and reachable. There was problem with the water heater. We found the problem and contacted Marija at night. Despite its nightime, she responded and sent someone to check the heater quickly.

“Beautifully decorated flat inside a castle”
Beautifully decorated right in the heart of old town split with the original castle still in tact. The host was amazing, very responsive and when she noticed it was one of the guests birthday she thoughtfully dropped off chocolate and a bottle of Prosecco. We very much appreciated the gesture!

“Very small but perfect location”
Location was excellent and the fact it was part of the palace. Clean, well equipped kitchen area. Lots of bathrooms. Lovely staff on arrival, very helpful.

“Lovely decore in the heart of the old town, so close to restaurants and shops.”
Loved the decore!! This place is beautiful. Also loved meeting the hosts to leave our car with them, and they dropped us at the property. Really friendly staff which made it a lovely stay. Easy walk to the marina for boat tours, and caught a uber for 8 euro to the beach. Loved our stay here.

“We had great weather and want to visit again.”
The Villa is super inside, nicely decorated and comfortable. One of our party was a Quantity Surveyor and he was really impressed with the construction of the stairs. Google maps is essential to find the property when first arriving as it's in the narrow alleyways of the old town, but having found it once it was fun finding a different way back each time. We wished that we had stayed longer, we loved Split.

The location was amazing! The uniqueness of the apartment was fantastic! The communication with the staff was superb. My whole family loved the reading nook. We fought over that chair! Overall very satisfied.
