Perfect location! 5 minute walk to the promenade and the Diocletian palace, 2 minutes to the bus stop. About 10 minutes to the parking from where a free bus is going to the Mall of Split. Numerous shops and restaurants are nearby. The personell is friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are good. Maybe not so many vegetables to pick from as I would prefer, mainly bread and sweets, but our stay was during low season, so it's understandable. Grilled vegetables in an omlet were a pleasant surprise. And the most important thing that made me choose this hotel is free parking! Just around the corner and in the city center.

LOCATION WAS AMAZING, WALK STRAIGHT INTO GRAD SPLIT WITH IN 3 MINS. AWESOME PLACE TO STAY WHEN HAJDUK IS PLAYING AS IT IS WALKING DISTANCE TO STADIUM. PLANTY OF RESTAURANTS AROUND TO CHOSE FROM AND FREINDLY STAFF.

“Fantastic location”
We arrived at Hotel Marul by hire car. We’d arranged parking which was in a public car park behind the hotel. It’s not possible to drive directly to the hotel (very narrow streets) so if you’re arriving by car, head for the car park and you will find the hotel at the south end. We had a sat nav to help us find the car park which I know we would have struggled to find without. Hotel Marul is perfectly situated on the edge of the old town and it’s literally a ten-minute walk to the Riva (waterfront). The whole old town is easily accessible on foot. Our attic room was large and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good but the other four-star hotels during our stay had had a much greater selection. Great was that all eggs were cooked to order. The reception team were always very friendly and helpful and we got some great tips for days out and where to eat. It was all in all a great stay and we can thoroughly recommend Hotel Marul.
