Overview
Set in 19th centur warehouse, renovated in February 2016, Design Hostel One is a hostel within a ancient city walls of Split. It is less than 1 km from Bacvice Bay and 5 minutes’ walk to Diocletian Palace. Free WiFi is available. Guests can chose between shared and private rooms. All rooms are air conditioned and contain bathroom with bathroom facilities. The dormitory rooms have beds separated by curtains with individual power sockets. Linens, blankets and towels are provided free of charge as well as the personal safety lockers. Design Hostel One features a variety of common areas such as lounges and a large terrace. There is also a small cinema on site, and a large bar. Design Hostel One’s multilingual staff offer assistance 24 hours of the day and can arrange for guided tours around Split. The city harbour (ferry terminal) and main bus station is 800 metres away.

“Convenient and central”
6 bed female dorm with toilet and shower room inside. Pretty comfortable beds, with privacy curtains. Lovely and. clean facilities. The other guests in our dorm were quiet and respectful which made for a good nights sleep. The check in and out staff were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hostel. Vey good location, right in the heart of the old town area.

“Was ok,,, but location ans staff were great”
We had a private room for two. The staff are amazing, nice, and so helpful. The location is fantastic. Even though the room doesn't have a coffee machine or a mini fridge. You have access to the common kitchen which has everything you need, and even though its shared, its so clean.

“I was very impressed”
We reached tgere earlier than the check-in time and the hotel staff were very helpful to let us get the room. The staff were very nice especially the man - I don't know his name- the kication is fantastic.

A fantastic hostel and within only a minute from the beyond gorgeous waterfront. As soon as you step out of the front door you are in the heart of major shopping, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend to stay here if visiting Split.

“Great hostel in a great location.”
The hostel.is ideally located, right near the harbour in the old town. The rooms are a bit cramped but the layout of the beds means everyone has privacy. Staff were courteous and helpful.
