I absolutely loved my stay at Apartment Kala,The room was spotless and had a warm, homey touch that made us feel instantly comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better — everything I needed was just steps away, with easy access right outside the apartment. There was even a convenient store nearby, and the neighborhood was friendly, welcoming, and felt very safe. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Beautifully decorated, with everything thought of for visitors. Only a short stroll to the Palace precinct, and with a small supermarket within 50m. The owners also provided a very clear guide on how to locate and access the property. Owners were also very responsive to any Whatsapp enquiries. Overall a modern, lovely gem - a pleasure to stay in.

Great location only 3 minutes walk and we were in the Old Town. The apartment was SPOTLESS and had everything needed for a long or short stay (the washing machine and drying racks and iron coming in handy as we were staying for a week). Welcome gifts (wine, beer, juice, cakes....) were in the apartment which was most welcome after our journey. The taxi got us to a few yards of the apartment which along with great instructions supplied by the owners made finding it easy. Communications although via email and whatsapp were excellent and the hosts very obliging.

The apartment was fantastic - the AC was perfect, the hosts had left all the amenities you could need (toiletries, oil, coffee etc) and they even left us a lovely basket of gifts to celebrate our honeymoon which we really appreciated. The apartment was the perfect size and really felt like a home away from home. The locking system using Yale a key card felt really safe and secure, and the area felt safe too. It was in the perfect location for being close to everything in central split but without the noise of the Riva

The apartment is clean, well equipped, comfortable and in a great location plus nice and quiet at nighttime.

The apartment is smaller but very comfortable and newly furnished. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location in the city center is excellent, with a grocery store just across the street. The air conditioning was very useful during the hot days, and we really appreciated the lovely seating area in the courtyard. Overall, a great choice for a stay in Split.

The apartment is located in the old town, just a 5-minute walk from all the restaurants and coffee shops — yet it’s surprisingly quiet. What impressed me the most is how well-designed and cozy the interior is. The aesthetic is really on point. The bedroom, in particular, is what I care about most because it directly affects my sleep quality. The bed sheets feel fresh and clean, the mattress is super comfortable, and thanks to the soundproof windows, I wasn’t disturbed at all. Even though it was 30 degrees outside, the AC worked perfectly and kept the space cool. I just feel so lucky to have found such a great place to stay.

Everything! The location was great, old town and bus station were a short walking distance away, but the apartment itself was so quiet. We loved that it was very well equipped and we were able to do our laundry and cook breakfast. Very good value for the money.

“Perfect space to base yourself in Split”

We travel often and have many comparison points. This is the most thoughtfully put together accommodation we have ever seen. We were in Apartment #2 but I’m sure #1 would match it. So many details to make it a comfortable stay. It is a cleverly designed small space with everything you could need (except a dishwasher - but it really doesn’t need it given the size), quality furnishings, comfortable bed. Washing machine with detergent. An outdoor area to relax. Located on the border of the old town, it is perfect for exploring. Easy walk to the inter-city bus/port area. It feels like you’re living local. Instructions for entry are clear. The hosts are excellent communicators, responding quickly to any questions and checking to make sure everything is going well.

A truly wonderful apartment in an ideal location for visiting the old town. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a break away. The bed was super comfortable and with shutters on every window we had some of our best nights sleep. The area was also nice and quiet given its proximity to the old town centre which is about a 2/3 minute walk. The host was very helpful and even provided snacks for our baby when we arrived.

The location is ideal for the old town and only ten minute walk from the bus station. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. Great communication with the host who was very friendly. There is a supermarket close by and plenty of places to eat only five minutes walk.

Great apartment for 2 people in excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from Split old town but in a quiet location. The apartment is newly renovated, clean and has all facilities you could wish for including air-con, washing machine, WiFi, TV etc. The port is only about 10 minutes walk, where you can get boats out to the islands. Communication from the owners regarding access is straightforward & they are very helpful.

“Perfect apartment for your stay in the old town of Split”

We had an amazing stay at "Apartment Kala". The location is perfect - in the middle of the old town of Split (near to the Opera), but also very quiet with a small backyard (as there are only two apartments in this house). The apartment is new, very well equipped and everything is well designed and of high standard. The apartment is really lovely and we enjoyed every day there. The host is super friendly and everything was smooth. We can definitely recommend to stay there.
