La Marchanderie is a delight with a warm welcome and lovely, peaceful surroundings.  We stayed in The Bread Oven, a small but very sweet building with tonnes of character - and a lovely bathroom!  Best of all, The Bread Oven has a cute little garden with comfy seating where it is lovely to sit and sip a glass of wine in the evening while listening to the wildlife and admiring the moon.  It's an equally nice spot for an al fresco breakfast.  The nearby donkeys are friendly and fun and the whole place feels so relaxing.  The only thing to note is that the beautiful mezzanine level in The Bread Oven has a spiral staircase that might not suit everyone and might not suit people visiting with dogs, though everything else about the place is paradise for any four-legged friend.  Our dog loved it!  It is also fantastic value for money! 😊

Everything about this property was great apart from the pillows. Location is great if you have a car. Nothing is close, so you need to drive to town for food and refreshments. The village is super cute and the cows in the field put you in touch with nature. There’s a lovely communal kitchen and lounge area.

A lovely place! Small house but well planned, in a lovely setting on the countryside, ver nice breakfast. We would be happy to return!

We booked the studio with mezzanine. It's a detached converted small barn you get all to yourself, with its own pretty garden. Beautifully done and full of character. Very quiet and peaceful, and easy to get to by car. A well equipped kitchenette with lots of tea and coffee provided. We loved meeting the friendly donkeys! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely property, recently renovated. Property has shared kitchen with option of breakfast. Rooms are finished to a very high standard. Property is just a few miles from LeMans. If you have a dog, there are fields to walk through and some plesent river walks not far away.

Restored farm building restored ro a very high standard. Everything you might need during your stay has been thought about and included. Very rustic but with modern comforts and requirements in mind i.e. an EV charger. The breakfast (charged as an extra €10 per person and paid locally) was excellent. Pet friendly

Fantastic location to visit Le Mans whilst seeking a rural location just out of the city. Lovely peaceful area for dog walking or just to take an evening stroll. The bedroom was perfect. Clearly newly done with modern fittings within what was an old farm building. Sufficient things present to make your own meal and a pleasant communal area to enjoy it. Family run affair that makes it personal.

The house and the location we’re nice although inside the home there is a very unsafe and uncomfortable element which is a spiral metal staircase without any safety bars and right in the middle of a very tiny living/kitchen area so you need to constantly be careful not to bump your head into. It can be a safety hazard especially if with children. Despite this the property was very clean, with fresh linens and a spotless bathroom
