“Your own ‘semi-private’ corner away from everything”
Iris is a wonderful and discreet host and I liked everything! Below some tips if you think of booking into Iris Villas. 1) When you reach Sparton village follow the signs and not your GPS. 2) If you don’t come with a car, you will not enjoy your stay as much. 3) If you are the crowded resort type of traveler, better look for something else. 4) If you have an issue with cats and/or bees, maybe look for something else.

“Beautifully designed apartments, stunning view and host”
The view was beautiful, the amenities in the apartment, but also in the yard (many lounge chairs, pool, jacuzzi, tables) were great, the attention to detail in terms of the design of the whole place was outstanding and Iris, the host, is lovely and will be there for you for any questions you might have. I would definitely recommend staying at the Iris Villas.

“Active family stay - positively surprised”
The perfect place to catch your breath. The Villa is new, in the European standard. Very tastefully arranged surroundings. The view from the pool over the bay is breathtaking. Descent to the bay directly from the facility. The entire property hosts only a few families, so you often feel like you're on your own. Lots of privacy. Bay with turtles and stingrays. Owners very helpful. Perfect location for trips, we attended rafting and visited several waterfalls. Photos do not show the magic of this place.

Complete escape from the tourist crowds. Very nice snorkelling and wild dophins and turtles every day right in front of the villa, highly recommended for a relaxing break. Great infinity pool and juccuzi !

Iris is a great host and so nice, thanks for the wine and stories Iris (:) and the location is fenomenale. What a views, sunrise and sunset colored the sky like I have never seen before. There are multiple places to relax and enjoy the see or the swimmingpool. Plenty of excellent restaurant nearby (Iris will tell you where to eat).

Very clean, a lot of space outside, the Mamma mia musical ambient. The host, Ms. Iris is incredibly nice person and invested into this facility a lot of her love into small, beautiful things which are making this place cousy. It is really like from Mamma mia Musical.

“Simply stunning”
Where to start? Iris villas was easy to find, and was very well sign posted from the village of Sparto.. Was it the wow factor of the location, or was it the offer of a welcome drink with the lovely hosts Iris and Andreas? Whichever it was, we knew on arrival that we'd picked the right place for the relaxing break we wanted. Iris villas is set right on the shore of The Ambracian Gulf and is very thoughtfully laid out, with space enough to lose all the guests without crowding each other if the venue was full, with loungers, hammocks, seating areas and a large soft shaded 'boat' giving you lots of choice for where you want to laze for the day. The infinity pool is stunning, and I spent many an hour just floating taking in the silence. Literally, the only sound you'll hear for the vast majority of your stay is the water lapping at the shore. I won't talk about the Turtles, Dolphins and Rays as they've been mentioned enough, but needless to say, we saw plenty of all of them. By the time we came to leave Iris Vilas we were so relaxed we were virtually horizontal and had made friends for life in Iris and Andreas. The nearest 'big' town is Amfilochia, where we recommend George's taverna for the best local (not farmed) fish. Amfilochia is only a short drive away and is lively enough to give you a 'fix' if you want to liven things up now and then. But then, you might just want to take in the amazing sunsets at Iris Villas with a cold beer or a nice wine. The chilling out options at Iris Villas are endless!! I really can't recommend Iris Villas enough. So often, we all say to our hosts that we intend to return, but never do, but in the case of Iris Villas, we will most definitely be back there in the not too distant future.

“Wonderful apartments in a stunning location with breathtaking views”
Booked an apartment for a 3 night stay to extend our stay after a week on Lefkas. It's about c40 mins from Preveza airport. Iris was charming and met us on arrival. Apartment was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Plenty of character. The apartments are set in a stunning location with beautiful views all around. Amazing sunsets. Swimming is via private access to the sea or in a beautiful infinity pool. Saw dolphins swimming across the bay, and a sea turtle. Plenty of outdoor space, and Iris has beautiful taste with sculptures and decorations by an area near the sea with sun loungers. This is proper Greece, unspoilt and not many tourists. Chilled Mamma Mia vibe. Highly recommended.

It’s really the best accommodation for a calm and relaxed stay. Enjoy the pool, jacuzzi or sea with a private entrance. It’s in the middle of nowhere, we’ve seen dolphins, a little tortoise and a ray. The two dogs Lucie and Luna were there for every cuddle. Iris is a super friendly and lovely host, I loved this location so much! :)

“A wonderful place to come back.”
We were personally welcomed with a drink and could use the swimming pool. Iris was always available for tips for good restaurants and nice things to do. The villa is just aside the water and we have seen dolphins and a seaturtle. Here we certainly will come back !!!
