We didnt mind the fact the hotel is very tired, it's very dated and in desperate need of a renovation, but we could have looked past that as the beach is lovely. What really bothered us though is the room and hotel were generally filthy, even after complaining (Ive never complained about a hotel or restaurant before in my life) and showing the owner pictures of the mould and thick dust in the room, a very quick minimal clean was done of 1 window and the mouldy curtains and filthy rug were swapped, but most of the room remained filthy. If we could have left we would. My wife put on a brand new pair of socks. Within 5 minutes in the room they were black. The dinning situation is bizarre, they have a family of birds that is encouraged to live in both restaurants, its not charming, everything is just inevitably covered in bird pooh, and the birds help themselves to any food they can get, like the "continental breakfast" which is left out. There is bird pooh on the walls, window sills, tables and chairs, tops of aircon units, everywhere you look basically. (This didn't seem to bother anyone else) The hotel is full of returning guests, we just don't get it... The staff try really hard to be friendly (too hard for us, even our 2 year old got fed up of the "hi fives") It cost us more than $750 a night, which we considered extravagant, but admittedly its one of the cheaper places in Bermuda. That got you a room and an OK breakfast and dinner. (No drink) making it by far the worst value and dirtiest place we have ever stayed even with its lovely beach. We went to another equally priced place after here at the other end of the island and it was leagues above in cleanliness, service, facilities and food and drink offering, so Bermuda prices can't be to blame.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with amazing views. The food is great with lots of choice (the meal plan is definitely a good option). But what really makes this place special is the wonderful staff who are attentive and go out of their way to be helpful without being too much in your face or pompous.

Traditional Bermidian hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. The food included in the half board option was delicious and great value by Bermudian standards. The hot tub, pickleball courts, and games room meant that we were entertained even when the sun wasn't shining.

A beautiful spot. Spectacular views and sunsets. The staff were exceptional from arrival to departure. Food was great and excellent value for money.

Exceptionally kind and friendly staff .Tom and his team are amazingly warm .Queena was so lovely and helpful .Amazing food ,amazing views and location .Heated outdoor pool , beautiful rooms , big terrace off the room to relax on ,lounge ,bar ,dj night was a real reminiscing experience with 80s n 70s classics on a big screen and a good dance floor ...free buses upto bus stop they drive you there and they collect yoh from ferry port too ... have never stayed in such a superb place ever

Loved everything about this resort, particularly that it is family owned and run which gave it such and homely and warm hospitality. It is a secret that I want to keep to myself but know anyone who discovers this place will love it. They could not do enough to make our stay the very best

Very friendly staff . Everyone from the kitchen staff to the barmen to the restaurant staff to the owners - all went out of their way to make sure that we had a great golf trip mixed with relaxation and great food. The location right next to the Port Royal Golf Club made iy ideal .

We loved the breakfast and dinner. The staff in all aspects of the property were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to interact with. The views from the property are breathtaking.

Location-Fabulous, the best. Views- All beautiful. Breakfasts- Wonderful. Staff-All incredible. Room 16 has THE view. Beach-White/Pink sand-doesn't get better. Larry Lamb-owner-if he can't make it happen, no one can. Shuttle to bus stops-very often-made life easy. Silence-very quiet at night.
