Jeff the host was super helpful and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Handy location to explore the Cape. Breakfast was delicious and there were little added touches like snacks and port available. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A warm welcome from lovely hosts Carol and Jeff. Breakfasts were delicious and made to order (Carol adjusted to suit my fussiness). Homemade cookies were yummy. Beaches nearby were great (virtually empty as out of season) and clean. Good restaurant recommendations too from Carol. We would definitely rate and recommend Captain Farris

“Quiet and very comfortable with lovely hosts and extras such as cookies and port for after dinner.”
Breakfast was lovely and our hosts happily swapped out the sweet option for savoury. We were visiting friends / family and the location was perfect for that so we did not have to drive too far which left us down time to enjoy our room - with its own little piece of the verandah.

The place is simply wonderful in all respects. The ambiance of the rooms and common spaces, the vibe of the charming old mansion, the attention to every detail, the amenities provided, the quality of sleep The breakfast was homemade, cooked almost by your table, and so tasteful. The staff were super helpful and catered for all our requests -Carol and Jeff are wonderful hosts! The location in the centre of the Cod peninsula is also very practical. In our 20-day road trip in the States we mostly stayed in well-known 4 and 5-star hotels, which were all equalled or bettered by this small country-side inn.

The host, Carol, seemed like a nice person; she and the staff were friendly. The shower area was nice. South Yarmouth doesn't have much to offer, but it's location does allow you to get to other parts of Cape Cod easily.
