Overview
The Costa Rica Motel is a family owned and operated motel offering guests ground-floor accommodation made up of Queen, Twin Share and Triple share rooms. Recreational facilities include outdoor swimming pool and squash court. BBQ and picnic area available for all guests, along with self serve laundry facilities. All rooms include free WiFi, daily housekeeping service and on-site parking with space for boats and trailers. Complimentary bottled water is provided on arrival. The beach and main street are within 15 to 20 minutes' walk. South West Rocks Golf Course is 1 km away from Costa Rica Motel. It is less than 10-minutes’ drive to Smokey Cape Lighthouse.

Room amenities were very good. Old school feel but with modern touches. Lots of space in the room. Bathroom renovated. Had kitchette that allowed some meal prep at home. Staff very friendly and helpful. Digital keylock meant no looking for a key every time leaving the room.

“Disappointed as the rooms could be great”
Stained sheets and towels Room not cleaned well Stayed for two days but only had one days worth of shampoo and body wash No room service Had to wait quite a while for hot water in the shower

“It was shit”
Sleeping on the concrete carpark would have been better. The bed was horrendous. The shower was broken spraying water in all directions. Took 5 minutes for hot water to reach the shower. Power outage in the middle of the night during “work” on the property with electrical tools meant my husband cpap machine didn’t work. TV was small and picture was blurry. Difficulty accessing channels. Kettle was faulty. Had to turn it on z5 times before it worked

We came at 11pm and was expecting to pick up the lock in a safety box, but the bloke came out to meet us
