“Great little find, fab location”

The check in was easy, their was a great guy there who helped us check in and with beach towels, super nice guy. Liked the cafe but with coffees and the fire pit was aces to make smores

I like that it was in a location that wasn't too far from Heavenly Village and there are many shops and food places. The room was quite clean and the guest area below with the free coffee and snacks were a great bonus for us.

Location, very clean and super helpful staff answered any questions quickly. It’s a lovely place and was really good value for money. No coffee in room but there is a communal area with loads of options that is much better. Oh and there are bears in the area. Loved that.

The fully digitalised check in is not working well in my opinon, stressfull for me as the client

Resthaven is in a good position in the town, you can walk to most places. We met a part owner of the accommodation and he was very pleasant and most helpful.

Very very nice place to stay. Sincere recommendations! Room was spacious and cosy. Newly renovated. We really appreaciated small ‘gifts’ that was left in the room (some drinks, snacks and vouchers for beach access). There was also a common area with coffee machine and actual COFFEE itself. All cutleries, cups, glasses etc. Not many places offers that. Also the fridge was stacked with sodas (Coca cola, Sprite, wine) and some snacks that was free of charge.

Large clean rooms with little treats left for snacking. Loved the complimentary mini bar. Bed very comfortable and the area was quiet at night. Having a fridge in the room is good.

Very friendly staff. We arrived a little earlier, they explained to us that as soon as the room was ready, they would inform us and settled us earlier than 3 pm. The hotel has a shared kitchen with a coffee maker and a kettle. Variety of coffees and teas. That was great! There is also a refrigerator in the kitchen. The room was very clean and the linens were very good! There was entertainment for our children. There are slot machines in the room and our children were very happy about it!👍 Thank you.

Common room was nice. The fire pit with chairs was a super nice touch. Chris the property Mgr was super friendly and nice. Bonus points that he took the time to remember my name. He took my verbal feedback very well and was understanding. Shared with me some renovation ideas for the future. Water for shower got super hot even during busy use times.

“We are not smokers!”

We were charged for $150 cleaning fee as the staff claimed there was smell of smoke in the room on the day we left. There was only me and my 11 year old son in the room. And We were not even smokers. The room was stuffy and we had to turned on the old noisy air con and the old wall heater while keeping the toilet window open for fresh air all night. We have messaged the staff and they would not change their opinion.

LITERALLY NOTHING! Initially I would have praised their quick response time. However, after not getting any results out of the conversation and having to send a follow up to get an answer each and every time it's not even that anymore.

Location was good and the bed very comfortable. The shared space had coffee and tea which was great.

Simply amazing. Beds super comfortable, wide room, nicely decorated, very quiet surroundings. Small but perfect bathroom. Every detail was refined, all very clean, it all seemed brand new. Great location, easy parking. We appreciated a lot the shared kitchen and facilities. You can easily walk around the area. I wish I stayed longer!

Great location, free parking outside, modern facilities and felt very homey! Little touches like robes and luggage stand were nice.

“OK motel for a short stay - with more downs than ups.”

The best about this motel is it’s very good location right in the centre of South Lake Tahoe with close proximity to a private beach (25$ per person though; 10$ after 5pm). The bed was comfy and some amenities such as shower gel and a soap were provided.
