Very quiet, clean, lots of amenities and great room overall. We loved the fireplace in the room and the balcony as well. Having a small kitchen with dishes, microwave, and fridge was amazing. The bed was very comfortable.

“Warm, welcoming, friendly and cosy hotel in the heart of Lake Tahoe.”
We loved everything about this place. it was warm, welcoming and the staff were very friendly. The decor of the room and the hotel overall was very attractive and super cozy. It is conveniently located close to Lake Tahoe and all of the interesting hikes and facilities in that area. we would definitely come and stay again.

“Wonderful stay at a fabulous hotel”
Wow what a beautiful place to stay! Set back from the main road around the lake, it was a beautiful, peaceful location. Rooms were well appointed with everything you could need. Robes and a lantern provided for late night trips to the hot tub. The main lodge had a bar, coffee and water station. We had a fantastic stay

Wow! This place is fantastic. Perfectly positioned to enjoy Lake Tahoe. The room was exceptional and so spacious with great kitchen facilities. Lovely outdoor seating area looking into beautifully kept gardens. Bed super comfortable too. Very clean and just perfect really. Lovely friendly staff. The perfect place.

“Perfect location for Lake Tahoe!”
Black Bear Lodge was absolutely perfect for our stay in Tahoe. The location is amazing, just a couple of minutes from the lake and close to everything while still feeling peaceful and cosy. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The lodge itself has such a warm, cabin-y vibe that added to the experience. Everything from the décor to the little details was thoughtfully done. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back!
